More from the article...

...This is the view of U.S. Security agencies, who are warning that Chinese government-backed hackers have breached major telecommunications companies worldwide.

Considering the ramifications for Digital Journal is cybersecurity evangelist Alon Nachmany, Field CISO of AppViewX. Nachmany has been considering the motives behind these types of dangerous cyberattacks.

Nachmany also considers what companies must prioritize looking ahead.

Nachmany begins his analysis with the probable point of origin: "The Chinese government-backed hackers that have breached major telecommunications companies, is yet again another validation on how countries rely on cyber warfare for political gain."

Furthermore, says Nachmany: "With the FBI alleging that China conducts more cyber intrusions than all other nations in the world combined, the entire situation reveals that today's cybercriminals will go great lengths to get what they want.

Although China has denied any attack, if China is indeed associated with it, the attack is clearly an attempt to gain additional knowledge as the friction between the U.S.-China relations over Taiwan continues."...

Fire the diversity hires and hire only the best.

I don't care if they're a tri-racial trans-centaur so long as they're loyal to America and can keep the Chinese out of our lives.

"Fire the diversity hires and hire only the best."

Oh, so hire the Chinese (and some Indians).

Asians communities have been part of America since c. 1800.

If they're loyal to America why not?

How many Chinese call centers are there? Oh, and cybercrime doesn't mean Verizon hires Chinese double-agents, Bor.

@#2 ... Fire the diversity hires and hire only the best. ...

When I managed a technical team, I did hire the best of those I interviewed, and I had a diverse team.

I don't understand why your comment seems to associate a diverse team with a team that is not the best.

I figured "diversity" was code for Chinese?

Selecting people based on their race gender etc. rather than their being the best is now acceptable.

Thing is not everything is a yoga class and some positions should only be occupied by the best applicant with no thought given to anything but their ability.

if my theoretical candidate didn't make that clear....

Almost every Chinese programmer I have ever worked with was first generation, and about 50-50 praising/defending CCP.

I did hire the best of those I interviewed

Thats what all the racist say too.

I don't understand why your comment seems to associate a diverse team with a team that is not the best.

Also larger telecom companies hire to meet diversity quotas or else they get sued for racism.

@#8 ... Selecting people based on their race gender etc. rather than their being the best is now acceptable. ...

The problem had been that people were selected based upon their race/gender.

That is why we currently have such white-male oriented leadership in corporations.

To say that hiring the "best" effectively eliminates those who are not white males seems to me to be a rather difficult position to substantiate.

Wouldn't you agree?

"Selecting people based on their race gender etc. rather than their being the best is now acceptable."

As well it should be.

Get ten people who think they are, and have been told, they are "The Best" to try to work together on a team and you'll see why.

You linked to a search for "diversity hiring" but I don't see what it means.

"Diversity" is one of those things that people say they want, but them mean a narrow spectrum.

Nobody wants a homeless person working alongside them, even though that's pretty diverse. And if you are homeless at work, you shamefully hide that fact.

" Thats what all the racist say too."

Comrade, you're giving yourself away. To properly pose as American, you must punctuate correctly.

It's "that's", with an apostrophe, racistS (plural) and a comma before "too".

Please refer to the Russian-English translation guide for more instruction.
