Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

Oliver Darcy: On the same day that the former president's scheme to remain in power was further exposed at another January 6 Committee hearing, Fox and OAN suffered legal defeats in court related to their advancement of his election lies. And last week, on Thursday, Newsmax also suffered a legal loss.

"So far, the right-wing media outlets that peddled Trump's false election narratives have had little luck winning in court against the voting tech companies suing them for billions of dollars. It is early in the process, of course. But the string of defeats these media outlets have suffered indicate that these lawsuits have some teeth to them.

The cases also point toward the fact that Trump's election lies will be litigated in court, through multiple cases, regardless of whether the Department of Justice pursues charges against him or not..."

The obvious, and provable lies peddled by these media outlets have done irreparable damage to the business of both Dominion and Smartmatic. The Reich will never again trust an election involving either company. I point to what's going on in NM as a great example why they should be able to either own these media companies, or put them out of business.

There would be no problem if MAGA had not married itself to a lie. An obvious lie. One that failed in 60+ court challenges. A lie that numerous powerful Republican Trump appointed DOJ representatives testified under oath to Congress about this afternoon.

Please. For love of truth, rightwingers, stop with this lie already.

OAN and Newsmax don't have the billion they're going to lose to this lawsuit.

Dominion is going to own both companies.

They're in too deep, MOD. Once Trump has been properly disposed of, the most we can hope for is that his flunkies will slither away a few at a time.

I might add that putting Trump in prison won't work either. That will just give his rioters a new platform from which to squawk. As long as Trump has a voice, even one in disgrace, that will be good enough to stage more violence.

No, Trump has to be broken into a thousand pieces and put away in a dark place where his screams can't be heard. Maybe in Hell.

You have to throw his diapered ass into the Cracks Of Doom.

No easy task.

I initially thought you may have fell and hit your head too, but after 15 years of further assessment, I can see that you were retarded from the beginning.

Don't be too sure. The NY Attorney General and the Manhattan DA are giving it a try. A number of civil cases in New York overlap Federal violations, especially in banking,
taxes and insurance fraud.

To add to his woes, all of Trump's assets, including partnerships, could end up in a court ordered receivership and sold to pay off his debts, including banks he scammed and the loans Russia co-signed for him. We're talking $billions$ ~ not millions.

With nothing coming in and everything going out, that would be pretty close to "Doom" for a guy like Trump who depends on money to buy his way out of consequences.

Anyway, that's my pipe dream to spell the doom of Donald Trump.

or as Sting and the Police once said,

Trump seems to like tangled webs and the chaos they create around him. He seems to believe confusion keeps people offguard.

Folks on the Right not watching? Maybe, outside the Beltway. In DC, GOPers are watching, and just hoping that no one will use their name and the word 'pardon' in the same sentence. Trumpers will not be persuaded. They will vote for their man, even if he were the one who hammered Jess to the cross, admit to it and state that The Son of Man had it coming.

These hearings have two audiences: swing voters nationwide, and Merrick Garland...
