Zed,

"Aren't you glad Trump developed a program to fasttrack research?"

Of course. But seriously, don't you think anyone would have done that?

Actually the drug companies did the fast tracking without needing Trump.

Also, if Trump had fast-tracked testing, we would have had an order of magnitude fewer deaths.

Trump was only interested in Hocking drugs that he had a financial stake in too.

#2 The first vaccine was developed by Turkish immigrants who founded a German company. They received no help from operation warp speed. Warp speed was a socialist program to help American producers who were trailing behind the Turks.

Aren't you glad European multiculturalism and its innovation saved Americans from its lazy corrupt subsidized drug industry?

Maybe more people should have died.

Trimper's clearly weren't grateful that a vaccine was created.

I think most liberals are and even many conservatives. I really hate how he downplayed the disease and made it seem unimportant to get the vaccine. Of course he was just playing to his base with that though right?

Ad then convinving millions there ws no danger from the virus and to reject the vaccines which he had secretly gotten for himself. The Pandemic was an opportunity for evil Republicans to displsy their constituent as fodder in their quest for power.

Yes, and remember when wearing cloth facemasks at 7-11 when you would go into the store to pay for your cigarettes and Mt. Dew was "fascism" and an intolerable intrusion into your own medical decision making and bodily autonomy?

How quaint.

Yeah, let's give a lot of credit to the guy who said there would never be more than 15 infections in the United States and then pretended whenever he was in front of a crowd of angry goobers that there might be something scary about "the booster."

He deserves no thanks. He would have earned much thanks had he handled this with a modicum of basic human decency. But, of course he didn't.

Are you also glad Trumpy made it possible for a million Americans to die due to his negligence and criminal incompetence??

It's just the flu!
15 cases soon to be zero!
Vaccines don't work! (but give me two please and some of that antibody juice)

"When you do testing to that extent, you're going to find more people, you're going to find more cases," Trump said. "So I said to my people, Slow the testing down, please.' They test and they test."

Aren't you glad that Trumpy is a moron like you?

Pres Trump, Feb 28, 2020 rally
==========
Now the Democrats are politicizing the coronavirus. You know that, right? Coronavirus. They're politicizing it. We did one of the great jobs. You say, How's President Trump doing?' They go, Oh, not good, not good.' They have no clue. They don't have any clue. They can't even count their votes in Iowa, they can't even count. No they can't. They can't count their votes.

One of my people came up to me and said, Mr. President, they tried to beat you on Russia, Russia, Russia. That didn't work out too well. They couldn't do it. They tried the impeachment hoax. That was on a perfect conversation. They tried anything, they tried it over and over, they've been doing it since you got in. It's all turning, they lost, it's all turning. Think of it. Think of it. And this is their new hoax. But you know, we did something that's been pretty amazing. We're 15 people [cases of coronavirus infection] in this massive country. And because of the fact that we went early, we went early, we could have had a lot more than that.

So a number that nobody heard of that I heard of recently and I was shocked to hear it, 35,000 people on average die each year from the flu. Did anyone know that? 35,000. That's a lot of people. It could go to 100,000, it could be 27,000, they say usually a minimum of 27, it goes up to 100,000 people a year who die, and so far we have lost nobody to coronavirus in the United States. Nobody. And it doesn't mean we won't, and we are totally prepared, it doesn't mean we won't. But think of it. You hear 35 and 40,000 people, and we've lost nobody, and you wonder, the press is in hysteria mode.
===========

At the time he made his remarks, the U.S. had 57 confirmed coronavirus cases, 40 of which came from the Diamond Princess cruise ship, which experienced an outbreak of the virus. And health officials were warning that the spread of the virus domestically was "inevitable."

Except he really didn't. The vaxx candidates were already developed and would have continued developing without him.

All he really guaranteed was that their efforts and money spent wouldn't be wasted.

Haha. How quickly Libs change history to suit their narrative. It's not really worth arguing since there is ample evidence of it all over the place, even in foreign country media. It's just sad you resort to this even with all of it.

"Thank the scientists and doctors who did the actual work."

Almost every decision made by a POTUS is only carried out by worker bees. Do you think after Obama passed ACA that he then went to every health-related company and updated their systems, created the exchanges, etc.? Actually, don't answer that. If it doesn't match your narrative then you won't answer in an objective way anyways.

While I agree with your thought, the fact you will quickly laud a Dem POTUS for every little thing they do while demonizing a Rep POTUS for every little thing they do means I'll never get a logical, common sense, nonpartisan answer.

No other president would have ever thought to speed up vaccine development during a pandemic would they? If your party would have removed him for blackmailing ukraine, mike pence would have told drug companies to take their time right?

The fact that you WONT demonize a POTUS who mocked mask wearing and told the country that public health officials can't be trusted, and WONT demonize a POTUS who tried to overthrow democracy, means we dont expect anything logical or nonpartisan from you.

Cool strawman.

You created it because you know what I'm saying is correct. That you think Trump made a decision to make the vaccines shows just how ignorant or stupidly partisan you are because the vaccines were ALREADY UNDER DEVELOPMENT. Trump didn't precipitate the vaxx design, testing or production.

That is reality. That is fact.
