"I think the January 6 hearings are continuation of the exhausting circus that surrounds Trump," said a close DeSantis adviser granted anonymity to speak freely. "There are of course the lunchbox Republicans who think this is a mass conspiracy,' but among the donor class many are just tired of this."

"It's a --------," the person continued. "Some donors are getting sick of the --------."

It's impossible for Trumpers to watch the 1/6 Hearings; they would realize what a suet show the Trump Show actually was/is.

I mean, the Dems are barely noticeable at the Hearing... the Stars of the Cast are Trumpers all. His hand-picked lawyers, AG, DOJ, and advisors. And a smattering of Trumpish Election Officials who refused to lie about the Election, you know, just like the AG and the DOJ refused.

Most of them were willing not to let on that they knew their Boss was fully aware that he was/is telling the Big Lie about winning the election: that 90 percent of them told him so, with the DOJ even threatening to quit if he insisted on them signing a letter to the States that the Election was corrupt.

But most of them didn't come forward and tell the public at the time. Now, being only --------- patriotic, they have been forced to tell what they know under threat of perjury.

The other 10 percent of Trump lawyers like Eastman and T-Rudy (sorry, Rex!) the DOJ mole working for Eastman and Steve Perry of Louisiana, guy named Clark, Steve Bannon and some others... they were the ones feeding Trump's ego *dump truck required - and knowingly playing along with the Big Lie and, as Rudy said, "having a lot of theories, but no evidence.".

Or as a Federal Judge said, 'A Coup in Search of a Legal Theory'...

"Dr. Eastman and President Trump launched a campaign to overturn a democratic election, an action unprecedented in American history," Judge Carter wrote.

"Their campaign was not confined to the ivory tower- it was a coup in search of a legal theory. The plan spurred violent attacks on the seat of our nation's government, led to the deaths of several law enforcement officers, and deepened public distrust in our political process."

Before describing the specific documents in question (mostly e-mails from Jan 4-7, 2021), Judge Carter gives a brief history of Eastman's role as a key legal architect of Trump's efforts to prevent the peaceful transition of power.

Here are some excerpts:

On January 2, 2021, President Trump and Dr. Eastman hosted a briefing urging several hundred state legislators from states won by President Biden to "decertify" electors.

This despite the fact that, "In the months following the election, numerous credible sources"from the President's inner circle to agency leadership to statisticians"informed President Trump and Dr. Eastman that there was no evidence of election fraud ... By early January, more than sixty court cases alleging fraud had been dismissed for lack of evidence or lack of standing."

In response to alleged fraud, Eastman researched and planned a strategy for Donald Trump to win the election. Just after Christmas, Eastman wrote a now-public two-page memo proposing that Vice President Pence refuse to count certified electoral votes from states contested by the Trump campaign."

There's much more of the Judge's writing at the link below about how Eastman, who did indeed as advised by Trump's Chief of Staff, who was also telling Trump to give it up and not tell the Big Lie... the CoS told Eastman to get a very good criminal lawyer.

Perry pushed a little known, little recognized DOJ environmental lawyer named Clark to volunteer to SELL OUT HIS COUNTRY totally by offering, at Eastman and Perry's urging, to become Trump's new AG... and he would send out the Letter intentionally falsely claiming corruption in the Election to the States and then get revised Ballots of Electors, already being created at another end of the Big Op by Trumpers in those states.

Which is also why all the Pardons were sought; they figured out that what they were doing was criminal. Trump knew it, planned it, all along.

"During the riot, Vice President Pence, members of Congress, and workers across the Capitol were forced to flee for safety.

Seeking shelter during the attack, Pence's counsel Greg Jacob emailed Eastman that the rioters "believed with all their hearts the theory they were sold about the powers that could legitimately be exercised at the Capitol on this day." Jacob continued, "[a]nd thanks to your --------, we are now under siege."

As the attack progressed, Eastman continued to urge Pence to reconsider his decision not to delay the count.

In an email to Pence's counsel Greg Jacob at 2:25pm on January 6, Eastman wrote: "The siege' is because YOU and your boss did not do what was necessary to allow this to be aired in a public way so the American people can see for themselves what happened."

90 percent of Trump's hand picked lawyers told him he had lost the election and that he had lost it honestly.

But Trump found a future felon in Eastman to provide the fake legal theory and Rudy to run around with theories rather than evidence to the Courts, and Perry to recruit another insurrection conspiracist at DOJ in Clark to give the Big Lie life.

But who knows what we'll find out at the Hearing tomorrow... and will the DOJ strike again??
