Headline fail. Should read:
Russia Today political commentator Michael Flynn Pleads 5th When Asked About Peaceful Transfer of Power

He pleaded the 5th on whether the violence was justified, which is purely opinion. He didn't plead the 5th about the peaceful transfer of power. Kind of incredibly easy to see the difference if you are objective.

But the 5th is one of the dumbest things in the legal repertoire. And the quote above from Trump just shows how hypocritical he and Reps are being on this issue. It's almost as bad as being a witness and telling a story and then have a bunch of people believe it without any evidence...you know, like grabbing a steering wheel...

If it's under oath it's evidence.

No one would ever call you a Goober.

Trump is more than welcome to go under oath and deny it.

Even trump isn't dumb enough to think he can drive a car from the back seat. But you can certainly lunge at the wheel in an emotional tantrum because you're not getting your way. Like a crazy girlfriend in a car fight.

Your whole cult's defense is "he couldnt grab the wheel and drive therefore everything that she said is a lie"

Always liked that vid of Gen Flynn pledging allegiance to QAnon.

He didn't plead the 5th about the peaceful transfer of power

He did for one of two reasons:

1. He actually doesn't believe in peaceful transfer, so he declined to answer.
OR
2. He does believe it, but realizes he did not participate in such for his actions around and during Jan 6 which could bring charges.

Either way, he's despicable.

Cheney: Do you believe the violence on January 6 was justified morally?
Flynn: Take the Fifth.

Cheney: Do you believe the violence on January 6 was justified legally?
Flynn: Fifth

Cheney: Do you believe in the peaceful transition of power in the United States of America?
Flynn: The Fifth

You are welcome to admit you are wrong at any point. Or, you know, remain silent in the face of evidence proving you are wrong, LOL.
