In the race for the U.S. Senate in Georgia, Democratic incumbent Raphael Warnock leads 54 - 44 percent over Republican challenger Herschel Walker, according to a Quinnipiac University poll of Georgia registered voters released today. In Quinnipiac's January 2022 poll, the race was very tight with 49 percent of voters supporting Walker and 48 percent supporting Warnock.

Maybe Georgia's voters aren't bat-guano insane after all. In related news,

The race for Georgia governor is a tie with 48 percent of voters supporting Republican incumbent Brian Kemp and 48 percent supporting Democratic challenger Stacey Abrams.

This is essentially unchanged from Quinnipiac's January 2022 poll when 49 percent supported Kemp and 47 percent supported Abrams.

Gonna be hot races in Georgia come November sure as scheit.

Abrams won the last election, but Kemp changed the rules so that Kemp won.

What? GA insists on someone who can speak a full paragraph without embarrassing himself?

Tony's right: Maybe Georgia is onto something....

Walker has to much baby mama drama to be an effective Senator.

The voices in his head aren't helping either.

This is Walker's campaign in a nutshell:

Hershel has been hit on the head so many times and hypnotized by his former employer to the point that he will continue to shout the "T" word during the campaign, far past the time when doing so becomes unfashionable, even foolish. By November it will be as if he has stepped in a very large pile of Trump guano, stinking up every hotel ballroom, campaign bus or street corner with his presence and words. I'll wager that as the 1/6 Committee continues its work, today may be the closest Hershel Walker gets to winning the election--he will be stopped for a loss. How big only Hershel can decide...

Republicans want to portray Warnock as a scary black man.

problem is the guy they nominated actually is a scary black man.

I guess Herschel will have to go back to being an FBI agent.

The Dems are gonna kick the Republicans ass in the Senate come this November. I expect we gain at least two more seats. At which point Joe Manchin can go **** himself.

Deadbeat Herschel better be really careful or he will have several more illegitimate children to NOT support after Georgia bans abortions.

44% of voters in Georgia are literally insane. The only conclusion one can draw from supporting Herschel Walker for Congress.

I think you're on to something Moder8.
Fetterman in Pennsylvania and Tim Ryan in Ohio.
And Warnock holds.
