Tears, Confusion at Abortion Clinic: Heartbeat Bill Now Law

The parking lot of Dayton Women's Med Center in Kettering was busier than usual Monday as patients inside tried to understand their options now that abortions are banned in Ohio after the detection of a fetal heartbeat -- about six weeks into pregnancy.

The cruelty is the point:

Today we saw a patient in Dayton who has cancer. Her doctors told her she would have to terminate before she received chemotherapy treatment. She will have to travel to Indiana.

A mom brought her daughter in and doesn't own a car. She will have to rent one to get her daughter to her appointment in Indianapolis later this week.

There were 2,770 induced abortions performed in Montgomery County in 2020, the most recent data available from the Ohio Department of Health. This amounted to 13.4% of the procedures in the state. Statewide, 61.8 percent of the 20,605 induced abortions reported in 2020 were less than nine weeks along.

Women's Med estimates about one of every 15 of its patients are less than six weeks pregnant. Many women don't even know they are pregnant that early.

Republicans are fine with that.
Republicans are fine with her not being able to terminate at all. That's what the fetal heartbeat law does, since by the time anyone finds out they're pregnant there's already a fetal heartbeat.

What limits are companies that are providing travel and expenses for employees to abortion permissive venues? Do they provide those benefits for male employees? How many abortions per year are allowed?

Entirely depends upon the employment level of each employee. Entry-level employees only get 0.5 abortions per year. Mid-management get 1.0 (a full) abortion per year. Upper management have access to 5 full abortions per year. And the CEO gets as many as he or she wants, since it's such an effective form of birth control.

Let me remind you there is NO HEART when the electrical activity occurs that they call a "heart beat". Without the host the entity would die, definition of a parasite.

the strangest medical "law" ever. The six-week embryo has no functioning heart, blood is pumped from the mother's blood pressure.

But don't let science interfere with GQP-led state legislatures.
Because they "know" a person is alive at 20 weeks, or 15 weeks, or six weeks, or even at fertilization.
...by 2023, maybe at ----------- or ovulation.
