Then-President Donald Trump angrily demanded to go to the US Capitol on January 6, 2021, and berated his protective detail when he didn't get his way, according to two Secret Service sources who say they heard about the incident from multiple agents, including the driver of the presidential SUV where it occurred.

While the details from those who heard the accounts differ, the Secret Service sources say they were told an angry confrontation did occur. And their accounts align with significant parts of Hutchinson's testimony, which has been attacked as hearsay by Trump and his allies who also have tried to discredit her overall testimony.

Like Hutchinson, one source, a longtime Secret Service employee, told CNN that the agents relaying the story described Trump as "demanding" and that the former President said something similar to: "I'm the f**king President of the United States, you can't tell me what to do." The source said he originally heard that kind of language was used shortly after the incident.

"He had sort of lunged forward -- it was unclear from the conversations I had that he actually made physical contact, but he might have. I don't know," the source said. "Nobody said Trump assaulted him; they said he tried to lunge over the seat -- for what reason, nobody had any idea."

The employee said he'd heard about the incident multiple times as far back as February 2021 from other agents, including some who were part of the presidential protective detail during that time period but none of whom were involved in the incident.

And there's this too:
The source added that agents often recounted stories of Trump's fits of anger, including the former President throwing and breaking things. "Not just plates," the source added, ...
Bigly presidential, eh ...

I read about it a couple of months after it happened.

I bet a bunch of people inside the Trump administration heard the story too:

Hunter Walker
@hunterw

Back in April, a law enforcement source told me that they heard DC Metropolitan Police officers affiliated with the presidential motorcade share a story of Trump demanding to be drive to the Capitol and getting into an altercation with Secret Service on January 6.

I heard this story months before Cassidy Hutchinson went public with these allegations. I believed the story to be credible at the time because of the source. I am withholding their name due to their position.

At the time, I chased the story. I was unable to identify the names of the MPD officers assigned to the motorcade that day and had to go underwater for other writing projects.

When I initially heard the story of the January 6 motorcade fight, it was off record. I also felt I needed more corroboration. Now, Hutchinson seems to have corroborated it. My source was OK with me sharing this publicly because her account is being disputed.

I am very interested in hearing the accounts of DC MPD officers who were part of Trump's motorcade that day. I hope we will all hear from them soon.

The poster who supports the orange jizzfart who was still chanting "lock her up" about HRC during the 2020 election cycle, because she had the nerve to speak the truth about him and because she slaughtered him in the national vote and would have beaten him if not for Russian collusion on the part of Dotard's campaign.

Sure, gutes deutschringer, we shouldn't talk about a POTUS who intentionally riled up a mob to cling to power.

A coup is nothing to worry about and shouldn't be discussed at all.

STFU idiot.

@#10 ... The rumor is that unnamed sources will allegedly backup Sexy Cassidy's second hand hearsay testimony. ...

The interesting part is that Mr Engel was present when Mr Ornato related the incident to Ms Hutchinson, and Mr Engel did not contradict or raise an objection to what Mr Ornato related.

The Secret Service is saying that the agents are willing to testify under oath to the Committee that there was no physical attack by the President, but that aspect is but one part of what Mr Ornato related to Ms Hutchinson regarding what occurred in the presidential limo.

The reason Ms. Hutchinson she was so important as a witness is she was clear when she was talking about first or third hand testimony. The first hand testimony was devastating, according to many legal experts, it was enough for a seditious conspiracy charge at the least and possibly even a treason charge against Dotard. Wanting the the metal detectors removed so that his knuckle draggers, who he KNEW were armed could remain armed as they followed him, as the conquering hero, to Congress after the speech shows knowledge and intent. The story from the limo adds a little color and context and will likely generate a subpoena to testify under oath to the agent who Dotard did not coopt, but it's not by far the most important revelation to come out of the day.
