It's been just over two weeks since the United States Supreme Court ruled in 5-4 decision to return abortion laws to the states by overturning Roe v. Wade and striking down Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization. The ruling expanded democracy by allowing the people of all 50 states to determine, through their state representatives, what kind of abortion laws should be passed and enforced.

Only in the regressive mind of a conservative does eliminating rights for half the population equal expanding democracy.

Fox's Pavlich, seriously?

Making Sarah Palin look like an intellectual is hard werk!

Here, she goes back decades to old quotes about abortion by Dems to lamely claim hypocrisy on their part.

Of course, it may be that rwingers are stumped by the idea of evolving opinions and having any concern for what other people think.

Really no need to go back that far at all to see Republican Govs who are eying the WH slow-walking their support for the SC decision and their plans to implement changes in their state, as reported today:

93 percent of women already have abortions by 13 weeks, so a few percent more at 15 weeks. Meaning almost all abortions are already 15 weeks or less. Meaning women have been ahead of this curve for a while now.

This has been rwing jihadists looking for a problem where none exists... because their political leaders need this sort of nonsense to distract them while their actual children's main cause of death is now guns.

These polls are merely showing what women already knew and have been doing responsibly themselves.

'Member when "conservatives" were all about personal responsibility and against the intrusion of the State?

Personal responsibility was werking just fine, but authoritarians gotta order people around anyway.

What a crok.

5-4? I thought it was 6-3?

Overturning Roe was 5-4. Dobbs, which is Mississippi's 15 week law was 6-3. Roberts voted against overturning Roe.
