Yeah, this is significant.
I still wonder why Mr Jones' lawyer apparently made this significant error.
From what I've heard, once he turned the phone image over to the plaintiffs' lawyer, he had 10 days to say, oops, and pull the phone image back.
But he did not.
That is what perplexes me.
imo, he must have known he made a gross error, but he did not seem to want to correct it.
Had he formed such a low opinion of Mr Jones that he was willing to effectively kill his career to bring Mr Jones down?
Did he put his loyalty to Country over the monetary benefit of his career?
Will there be books on all this, or movies?
This is all so perplexing.
And major kudos to the Judicial branch for sorting through the chaff and focusing upon the wheat here.
