Alex Jones, Roger Stone, and why the Jan. 6 committee getting their 'intimate messages' is more than just a joke on Twitter

"Twitter feasted on the news this week that two years of Infowars founder Alex Jones' cell-phone texts were accidentally leaked by his own lawyers and will soon be in the hands of the January 6 House committee.

The massive cache " totaling 2.3 gigabytes of mistakenly transferred evidence " includes Jones' "intimate messages" with his good friend Roger Stone, the news of which inspired tweets like, "Well, there goes lunch. And probably dinner."

But given both Jones and Stone's outsize roles in the attack on the Capitol on January 6, 2021, getting the candid exchanges between the two election-fraud-conspiracy theorists is a huge development as the House Select Committee continues its work."

Yeah, this is significant.

I still wonder why Mr Jones' lawyer apparently made this significant error.

From what I've heard, once he turned the phone image over to the plaintiffs' lawyer, he had 10 days to say, oops, and pull the phone image back.

But he did not.

That is what perplexes me.

imo, he must have known he made a gross error, but he did not seem to want to correct it.

Had he formed such a low opinion of Mr Jones that he was willing to effectively kill his career to bring Mr Jones down?

Did he put his loyalty to Country over the monetary benefit of his career?

Will there be books on all this, or movies?

This is all so perplexing.

And major kudos to the Judicial branch for sorting through the chaff and focusing upon the wheat here.

Well, Jones' lawyer DID ask for a mistrial. (It was turned down)

It was a shot in the dark but maybe their reason was "incompetent defense attorney."

It appears that the co-conspirators are starting to snap at each other. It'll become much more interesting when the federal prosecutors start to offer deals in exchange for testimony.

"Had he formed such a low opinion of Mr Jones that he was willing to effectively kill his career to bring Mr Jones down?"

Looks like it.

One small disbarment for a man, one giant leap for mankind.

I wonder just how "intimate" those messages are.

I do like the fact that Trans Porn was found as well. Watching him dance around that is quite the moment.

"Approximately two years' worth of text messages sent and received by right-wing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones have been turned over to the House select committee investigating the January 6 insurrection, a person familiar with the matter told CNN on Monday.

The messages were handed over to the committee by Mark Bankston, the attorney who represented two Sandy Hook parents who successfully sued Jones in Texas and won nearly $50 million in a civil trial that concluded last week."

It appears that those 'intimate' messages between Alex Jones and Roger Stone, they involved 'nude photos' of Jones' wife.
