The Russians appear wedded (at least for now) to the story that the damage was not caused by Ukrainian weaponry, i.e. rockets, while some Ukrainians are speculating "partisan saboteurs" might be responsible (www.euronews.com). Fog of war. But it does seem something, somehow, went ka-BOOM.

If it was rockets then we gave them ATACMS or long range ammo we don't even give to our units yet.

Wild satellite imagery. Huge craters all over aircraft parking. Two massive craters that were ammo storage. At least 24 aircraft destroyed. All while protected by a pair of S-400 systems, one of the most advanced SAMs in the world.

The satellite imagery is pretty damn stunning.

The FIRMS data is equally wild. It is public, global fire mapping data from NASA. Not very many fires in Ukraine. Since HIMARS has sniped over 50 Russian ammo depots in the last few days, occupied Ukraine is covered in major fires.
