I hope the quick actions of members of the audience lead to a good outcome.

Curb Your Enthusiasm - Fatwa! The Musical (I do not like this man!)

Great season, Salamn Rushdie is in one of the episodes talking about how women love to bang dangerous men.

...A bloodied Rushdie, 75, was flown to a hospital. His condition was not immediately known. His agent, Andrew Wylie, said the writer was undergoing surgery, but he had no other details....

Damn. ISIS is poor now they can't afford a nail gun and or an AR15?

Hope he's ok. He's been dodging these ISIS/Taliban crazies for decades. Guess his luck just ran out. My neck hurts just thinking about it.

He's not in good shape. Hopefully he recovers. I am surprised they didn't have security as he is still a very controversial figure.

Liver damage, arm nerve damage, maybe losing an eye according to this morning's accounts. A good outcome, if alive. A helluva lot of healing and accommodating, though.

I like Rushdie's nonfiction better than his fiction- especially Imaginary Homelands.

This attack could be taken as a message to those who were involved in the decision to assassinate Soleimani. 33 years is a long time to have to watch your back. All it takes is one lone maniac with a death wish and a pocket knife.
