This great!

Long time anti-American rwingers like Rand Paul doubling down on stupid.

May they all dissolve into the dust of history.

GQP supports law and order right until they get caught breaking the law at which point they want the laws changed.

Somalia doesn't have an espionage act
It doesn't have tax's or even a functioning government

Is this what Dandy Paul and the other imaginary "libertarians" have envisioned for America?

That certainly is one way to eliminate espionage.

Legalize it.

Seems like Rand is worried about something in his own closet.

Saw this perfect summation:

"Trump breaks the law, so Republicans say it's the law that needs to go"and the agents who caught him"

For an ophthalmologist, Randy sure lacks vision.

I think that one way to decide on what state to visit if one is thinking of moving, is to look at that state's representatives in Congress. Oregon has two great Senators, and Peter DeFazio was my rep in the House. A lot of states in the old south, well, they seem to elect on the basis of mean, stupid, and in the case of Paul, irrational dingbatism. Not sure how to describe Florida from its choice of representatives in Congress.

Key Republicans have been puffing on Putin for so long, the activity has become normalized. My own US Senator, Ron Johnson (R-WI), has even visited Moscow, in lieu of celebrating the Fourth of July in United States! If treason were legal, then ROJO could come and go as he liked, without people thinking ill of him.

I remember when Rand Paul was a somewhat interesting politician with somewhat unique viewpoints. Just another traitorous trump ball-gargler now.

Any one of us could create our own medical board in order to get certified like Rand Paul did.

I would tend to agree it should be repealed. But it seems to me it should have been repealed (or updated) YEARS ago. Why does Rand only care about it now that Trump is threatened by it.

And, the reasons it should be repealed are unrelated to what is happening with Trump. From the reporting, he stole highly classified materials and refused to give them back. This seems to be where the espionage act is actually being used correctly.

This won't surprise anyone but Paul is a hypocrite. He was supportive of the prosecution of Reality Winner in 2017 under the espionage act and called for similar treatment of any one else stealing classified materials.

"All of them have to be found, and I guarantee there's a paper or a computer trail of who released these documents and who released these conversations."

Of course the Russian assets in our government want to get rid of laws that will send them to prison for a long time, it's only natural.

On behalf of Kentuckians everywhere, I apologize for the fecal smear known as Rand Paul. However, I would like it noted for the record that Rand Paul is not a native. Nor is Mitch McConnell. Paul was born in Pittsburgh and grew up in Texas.

I don't. He's always been a tool, with nothing interesting to say, IMO. Like all Libertarians, they make sense for about 2 minutes and then the crazy shows up.
