Rudy Giuliani has been told by prosecutors in Georgia that he is a target of the special purpose grand jury investigating whether former President Donald Trump and his allies violated the law in their efforts to flip the 2020 election results in Georgia.

"Costello said Giuliani will still appear Wednesday before the special grand jury but declined to say whether his client would invoke his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination.

Giuliani, who served as an attorney for Trump during the 2020 election, was ordered by an Atlanta-area judge to appear in person in front of the special grand jury this week."

Rudy and Ms Lindsey are in a world of hurt.

Only question is which one will turn State's evidence first?

Fmr Mayor Giuliani, how far he has fallen.

Mayor Giuliani Helps SNL' Get Back to Funny Business as Usual (September 30, 2001)

...But first, Giuliani opened the show's 2001-02 season flanked by Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik, Fire Commissioner Thomas von Essen and some two dozen stone-faced, uniformed police and firefighters.

After extended applause, Giuliani paid tribute to the heroes and the victims of the attack, then noted that "our hearts are broken, but they are beating, and they are beating stronger than ever," adding that the city would not bow to fear. "We choose to live our lives in freedom."

He was followed by Simon, standing on a flag-draped stage and wearing a New York Fire Department cap, performing his song "The Boxer," about a fighter battling loneliness and alienation in New York.

Giuliani was then joined on stage by the show's executive producer, Lorne Michaels. Calling "Saturday Night Live" one of New York's greatest institutions, Giuliani said, "Having our city's institutions up and running sends a message that New York City is open for business."

"Can we be funny?" Michaels asked, to which the mayor responded with perfect timing, "Why start now?" Then Giuliani delivered the show's famous "Live from New York, it's Saturday night!" line....

What happened to that Rudy Giuliani?

@#5 ... I'm going with...Trump's taint is poison? ...

But being the Mayor of New York City back in the early 2000's, Mr Giuliani must have known that (then) private citizen Trump was a sleazy low-life.

Geesh, I knew that back then just because I was in (and still am in) the New York City market area, i.e., I receive the New York City television stations as my primary TV.

So, why didn't Mr Giuliani, as Mayor of NYC, not have a clue about the possible problems of entering the orbit of fmr Pres Trump?

Maybe Mr Giuliani is not all that smart?

Who knows?
