Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

A review of Truth Social postings by Rolling Stone shows Trump supporters have spent the past week doxxing both Judge Bruce Reinhart, the magistrate judge who approved the Mar-a-Lago warrant, and an FBI agent involved in preparing the request, as well as their families.

They incentivize the full weight of federal law enforcement being brought to bear on them and their associates.

A situation they think they can win but are likely to find out very fast they can't and won't.

#37 A politician accusing someone of "lying". That's rich.

The Bork definition is spot-on and is backed up by history. He went in front of that committee and answered every question with brutal honesty. He was clearly the smartest person in the room by a wide margin. The result of his being open about his judicial philosophy was a coordinated smear-campaign that, well, may have only been rivaled with the Kavanaugh nomination. Heck, when Abe Fortas was successfully filibustered he was being nominated for Chief Justice (he still remained on the Court as an associate justice) and not only was it a bipartisan filibuster but the reason for it was very credible allegations of very serious illegalities on his part.

Of course, you are now the one deflecting - I correctly pointed out the Genesis of the problems inherent within our SCOTUS nomination process and you can't deal because your beloved party created this mess.

Regarding Ford....

What month did her allegation occur?

Which house did it happen?

She named 4 witnesses - what is their recollection? More specifically - what about her best friend at the time? What has Leyland said since? How many parties did Leyland attend where Kavanaugh was present, with or without Ford? What has she said about the allegation after the confirmation? Was she pressured at all by Ford's "people" before the confirmation?

Ford claimed extreme claustrophobia as a result - which is why she had to have a second front door affixed to her house. Why is the second egress and the small area of the home (a space they use as rental property) completely inaccessible from the rest of the house where she resides?

In furtherance of her fear of closed spaces claim she said she has an extreme fear of flying. Why is it she flies all of the time, even on at least one instance a small puddle-jumper plane and witnesses claim she displayed zero anxiety?

******

Fact is, if you don't know the answers to those questions you are far too ignorant to be discussing this, JPW. If you DO know the answers, yet are continuing with your tack then you are one lying ------------. Both are a really bad look.

******

The crazy thing is of all of the "witnesses" who went on public record regarding Kavanaugh's "sexual misconduct" - Ford's allegations had the most "credibility". Looking at those questions above and knowing the answers - you idiots are pathetic.

"Right-wing scum" didn't create the Ginsburg rules. Those were created as a result of the absolute circus Democrats made of the Bork nomination.

Now, we can't get straight answers from any justice regardless of which party did the nominating. Heck, our newest justice wouldn't even provide a definition for "woman". How much of a left-wing bubble do you people live in not to see the absurdity of that?

Um, OK. Let's see.....Flew in from California. Purchased a handgun, ammo, a knife and burglary equipment (and we later find out he really wanted to assassinate 3 justices). He gets within visual of Kavanaugh's house and spots 2 armed marshals and gets spooked ,as would-be-murderers often do when confronted with armed resistance. Then walks around for over 30 minutes and finally turns himself in.

Yep. No biggie. In your mind Biden should probably pardon him. You will hyper-ventilate that the FBI receives some anonymous threats but will shrug off Roske - no big deal! Just like Hodgkinson - "He didn't kill anyone. He just got a bit too emotional and made a mistake. No big deal."

"Or did you just miss what actually happened on 1/6? "

Not at all. Like all riots, it was bad. I watched your linked 1/6 NPR interview, BTW. Scary but also....when she started talking about "school districts" I took everything else with a grain of salt.

Typical Reich Wing tactics...

weaponize the media under their control,
proceed to bully any that will
listen, into submission.

These people are Fascists.
These people are Nazis.

Believe them when they show you
who they are...

Because in this crazy time we live a shrill and nasty swath of our society are going full-on Orwellian post-Modern and are trying to write the word out of our lexicon.

It's not SCOTUS' job to win the culture war for you.

Had he been more stoic, it would have been "proof positive" of his guilt
#28 | POSTED BY BELLRINGER

You're wrong.

Guilt is not determined by the emotional reaction of the accused.

Kavanaugh was the most scrutinized SCOTUS candidate in this country's history.

You say "was" which is past tense.
Who is the current record holder?

Yes.
"Greenbelt, Maryland (CNN)Nicholas John Roske, the man charged with attempting to murder Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, pleaded not guilty on Wednesday in a Maryland federal court."

Since you are the one attempting to play the equivalence game, please provide a similar example regarding Pence.
#81 | POSTED BY BELLRINGER

99% of Jan 6 protesters and Donald Trump will not be charged for Jan 6 despite the calls for hanging Pence and the premade gallows.

That was easy.

" Kavanaugh was the most scrutinized SCOTUS candidate in this country's history."

Nonsense. The FBI didn't even interview the guy named as an eyewitness, something you'd NEVER accept if the nominee had a D after their name.

Got double-standards?

" I watched your linked 1/6 NPR interview, BTW. Scary but also...."

Also?!? Why change subjects? Multiple folks have stated they would've killed Mike Pence. You didn't seem to know.

1/6 was a failed assassination attempt of the VP.

You sure as ---- didn't care (probably laughed) when an actual assassination attempt was made against a SCOTUS justice over an unprecedented leak of an upcoming SCOTUS opinion.

Dude was arrested before he got anywhere close.

Stop with the hyperventilating, lying --------.

BTW if you have to put words in people's mouth you've already lost.

I love it, though, how you, the constant whining deflector for any and all ------- Repubs, has the gall to call anyone else a hack.

I don't dismiss it as a possibility. Has anyone been charged with attempted murder or conspiracy to murder Pence from the 1/6 rioters who were arrested?

#76 | POSTED BY BELLRINGER

Back to this -------- game again, are we?

Dude was arrested before he got anywhere close.

Not only that.

He turned himself in.

He came to his senses, realized he was being a dolt, and walked over to law enforcement to confess why he was there.

For BellyAche, this is worse than the assassination of JFK.

BellyAche respects Kavanaugh, whereas he's pretty sure JFK got what he deserved.

He successfully turned himself in.

Of his own volition.

What's interesting is how disappointed you are that Roske didn't attempt to assassinate Kavanaugh.
