DoJ's not playing softball.

Apparently they sprung a leak? ...

Or all part of the wrap up smear job by a federal law enforcement agency against a political enemy?

DOJ admits they leak ... oh well, says the totalitarian fascist.

If Trump is literally Hitler then totalitarian fascist behavior to stop him is perfectly legitimate right?

When will you Lumpers ever learn "according to people familiar with the matter", is a good sign they are lying.

Trump can't be "literally Hitler" you stupid little brain dead ----. Use a dictionary. You right-wingers are so g-d damn stupid that you aren't worth any kind of serious engagement.

Also you are always projecting what you do on the others. That's also the surest way to know what Republicans are up to, by the way. See what nefarious accusations they launch at others, then sit back and watch the Republicans do exactly that.

Who commits election fraud?
Republicans.

Stack the courts with activist judges that ignore the rule of law, settled law, stare decisis?
Republicans.

Who steals elections?
Republicans.

Who's putting in place people that will overthrow our elections?
Republicans.

Who lies, lies, lies, and lies?
Republicans.

Who let unauthorized people in to ruin voting machines?
Republicans.

Who published voting machine passwords?
Republicans.

Who mishandles classified documents?
Republicans.

Who built their party strength on racism?
Republicans.

Who's selling out our Nations security?
Trump - and the Republicans are backing him. Enabling him. He even has his own judge protecting his traitorous fascist ass.

WaPo originally reported on Aug 11 that Trump had nuclear secrets at his resort/home. Other news services were unable to verify the claim. Now WaPo is backing up their original reporting with more details. Assuming this report is true, Judge Cannon's ruling to delay the investigation looks even worse.

With Trump, it's almost always a lot worse than you initially think.
Also, things invariably gets much worse as the turd ripens.

The leaks are so unimportant compared to what Trump did, plus you have no idea who leaked. You and One's a nut don't have a clue. Not a f**king clue. What we do know is way, way more relevant.

This is just s**t for the United States.

2 buckets of documents that this article is referring to:
1) Information that describes or details a foreign country's nuclear capability.
2) Records that were so sensitive they involved the most secretive nuclear capabilities of the United States that only a carefully controlled handful of people ever had access.

These documents were kept in only special facilities, had full auditing and tracking to control document access.

And Trump gave it all away, or was willing to, certainly didn't protect it - took it all to MAL and left it unprotected, unlocked for months, finally putting a single lock on a door, while leaving these documents in his drawers and closets all over MAL.

Lock the dumass f**ker up already. If you are supporting this idiot, then go give yourself a barbed wire enema.

For those arguing about the unnamed source meaning story is unreliable.

Even that argument is damning for -------.

What ------- did is a perfect example of a situation where Kompromat can be employed. His having classified documents, which by definition cannot be disseminated to the public, thus no matter what is revealed or lied about cannot be disproven. That means our allies have to assume that it is true and will act accordingly, including not trusting or working with us in the future.

That is one, among many reasons, why one does not take classified documents home with you. You open yourself and our nation up to rumors or lies that have real world negative impacts on our country.

And this is totally -------'s fault.

Who knows who the source of this information is and what their motivations are. But again that is besides the point, because our allies will have to assume it is true. And that is -------'s fault, his actions allowed this to happen-if true HORRIBLE because he stole the documents, if not true, because HE allowed a bad actor to hurt our national interests.

#19 | Posted by truthhurts at 2022-09-07 09:56 AM | Reply | Newsworthy 1

No reason to assume any of WaPo's sources are with the DOJ. These documents were kept in an unsecured location that is a known target of foreign intelligence services. They were held by a person who has time and again shown they no respect for classified data handling procedures. The sources could be with the DoJ but they could also be someone close or not-so close to Trump. Could be a foreign source who has accessed the data and may have even watched the search occur remotely thanks to the insufficient encryption on maralago wifi networks. With the way Trump runs his mouth maybe it was Kid Rock.

The fact that everything I said above are real possibilists that cannot be dismissed out of hand is exactly why Trump must be prosecuted. His law breaking has put the country and the world at too great of risk for the DoJ to just look the other way.

Unnamed does not in any way, shape, or form indicate they are unknown. Those sources are clearly known, and WaPo is staking their reputation on them being reliable.

Republicans: Lie lie lie lie.
Everyone else: Where's you proof?
Republicans: We don't need no stinking proof! It's a FACT because we said it!

The Press:"We've been told by known sources we will protect by not naming, that Trump has classified documents at Mar-a-Lago"
Republicans: No he doesn't! If there are they were planted! The FBI is corrupt! It's a conspiracy! OK, he does, but he declassified them! It's all perfect. This is a witch hunt! He had a right to have them. This is all made up!
The Press: "We have confirmation from sources we will continue to protect that the classified document contain specific and deeply classified materials"
Republicans: Name these sources or we won't believe you!
Everyone that's sane: "You won't believe anything anyway, so piss off."

Not really. None of their corporate media peers will hold them accountable if they get this wrong. 51 former ------ signed a letter claiming the Hunter Biden laptop story had all of the markings of a classic Russia disinformation campaign and corporate media acted as stenographers. That is but one of countless examples of our corporate media acting as a blow horn for our government.

Trust in our news media is at a historic low and they don't appear to care.

Maybe this story is legit. It could be. However, ask yourself this - how many fabulist stories did you gobble up the past few years only to get burned as the stories crumbled under scrutiny? Do you ever reach a point of skepticism with mainstream media outlets?

For me, I hope this reporting is accurate because I absolutely do not want Trump to run again and this could bury him. Having said that I absolutely despise being lied to and our media have done a lot of lying the past 10 plus years and the lies have almost always flowed in one direction.

The documents Trump refused to hand over when first asked and then subsequently lied about.

Those documents.

Please explain how invisible documents and anonymous sources get a warrant from a federal judge.

Will you acknowledge that that is a likely result of this story being published?

#76 | POSTED BY TRUTHHURTS AT 2022-09-07 02:30 PM |

What I will acknowledge is that I have seen nothing of the sorts. Now I'm being told that there missing documents and empty folders. How in the hell do you arrive at acknowledging this could be true? Well I guess it "could be" but so far we have nothing but accusations that should land Trump in jail and no one has even pointed to that so far.

You don't search someone's home, remove evidence of treason and hand the guys (accidentally taken) passports back over to him and say "see you later"

You are being played like a fiddle in the middle of midterm election season.

Jesus H Christ... On an accusation?

Please explain how a search and seizure took place at Trump's home and produced evidence that he was guilty of treason or anything else - and now nothing is being done except publishing schitty hit piece articles with ghost accusations and documents that were "supposed" to be there, but aren't.

Carter Page - FISA warrants.

He didn't tell the FBI that. He told the CIA that. The FBI reached out to the CIA to inquire if he'd ever done work on their behalf. They affirmed that he had and then Clinesmith altered the email to make it look the opposite and that altered email was used, in part, to secure a surveillance warrant on Page.

Look at the picture in this link:
www.nbcnews.com

the answer to your first question is both easy and not so easy. He had documents he should not have had (PRA). those documents do not belong to him, period full stop. So-theft of government documents, espionage (mishandling of NDI). The empty folders and the fact he didn't return them after repeated attempts and subpoenas are evidence of obstruction.

Why wasn't he arrested? Because he is -------.

His passports weren't confiscated because he was not arrested.

Why are you defending someone who has severely damaged national security?

Bill Barr is now asking you to swallow it, with fervor:

"There is no scenario legally under which the president gets to keep the government documents, whether its classified or unclassified," Barr said. "If it deals with government stuff, it goes back to the government."

Barr went on to explain that FBI agents could have seized Trump's passports and personal materials if they were stored with the classified documents, which could be kept as evidence of how those documents were managed. After saying he hopes the special master appointment is overruled and appealed, Barr was asked how he thinks the Mar-a-Lago saga will end.

"As I've said all along there are two questions," Barr said. "Will the government be able to make out a technical case, will they have evidence, by which, that they could indict somebody on, including him? That's the first question, and I think they are getting very close to that point, frankly."

Barr said the second question is "Do you indict a former president? What will that do to the country? What kind of precedent will it set? Will the people really understand that this is not failing to return a library book? That this was serious?"

"You have to worry about those things, and I hope that those kinds of factors will incline the administration not to indict him, because I don't want to see him indicted. He's a former president," Barr said. "But I also think they will be under a lot of pressure to indict him because ... if anyone else would've gotten indicted, why not indict him?"

Two Plead Guilty To Stealing Ashley Biden's Diary, Selling It To Project Veritas For $40,000
Nicholas Reimann
Forbes Staff

Two Florida residents who stole a diary belonging to President Joe Biden's daughter Ashley have pleaded guilty to federal criminal charges over the theft and later sale of its contents to Project Veritas, a hard-right activist organization.

O'Keefe said he was handcuffed while in his underwear as the FBI scoured his residence. ( just had to lol at that!)
