National Advoctes for Pregnant Women: No state prosecutes more pregnant people than Alabama, and Etowah County leads with more than 150 pregnancy prosecutions. As many as 12 pregnant or postpartum women are currently in jail there, held indefinitely before they can have their day in court. All of them face the same unconstitutional bail conditions.

Get back with me when you advocate the same for people who were arrested on 1/6 - no bail or trial for over a year.

You think reminding people about your fascist coup attempt HELPS your argument?

You really don't think Insurrection is much of a crime huh?

Fun Fact: Most of the Defendants are delaying trial for defense reasons and negotiations.

I never said that. Go back and read my comment, Junior.

Do you have a citation for your "fun fact"? Are you saying those charged are refusing to post bail and remain incarcerated until trial?

also... there are a whole lot of unprotected full-grown Alabama-bred fetuses dying on the streets of Mobile and every major city in this rich ass country.

Why is life only sacred before it is born? Perhaps you want them to grow into full-sized targets of cl0wn-based sanctimony and derision for your amusement?

GFY cl0wns... you are losing this fight.

Does anyone ever notice that Jayzus never talked to fetuses about their special place in this world? No parable of the conceived but unborn?

and

"You must think it's okay for pregnant persons to excessively drink and take drugs."

Ever stop to think that the women of Alabama want it this way? If you dont want a redneck version of the Handmaid's Tale then vote for that in YOUR state.

This week on fascist theatre:

"Banks (arrested for carrying a small amount of marijuana) admitted to smoking pot on the same day she found out she was pregnant " two days before her arrest."

We are the State. We know what's best.

I guess you did not watch the four hours of news on the day of the insurrection? You know the video of people trying to stop the transition of power in the USA? You are coming off as a traitor to the republic so maybe you should just piss off to China or Russia were you belong.

#9 | Posted by lfthndthrds

Since when does someone have to be convicted of a crime to deserve criticism?

You could criticize them for falling for the big lie and attempting to overthrow democracy even if those things aren't crimes. Why don't you?

#25 | Posted by SpeakSoftly at 2022-09-08 03:36 PM | Reply

What is happening in this country?

Seriously. Lfthndturds, explain it to me.

What kind of country are you hoping to live in?

One where only certain people have rights and everyone else is a subject of the state?

Because, that's what it seems Republicans are seeking.

You do realize you took it on yourself to completely disregard the injustice women are facing.

"As many as 12 pregnant or postpartum women are currently in jail there, held indefinitely before they can have their day in court. All of them face the same unconstitutional bail conditions."

To complain about what people who attempted an insurrection are facing.

People who were trying their best to prevent democracy from transpiring, for power to transition.

Literally traitors to the nation.

It's not even in the same realm of discussion.

But it speaks volumes about you. You're mentally ill. Feeding on a diet of Rightwing hate.

Okay to drink and take drugs while pregnant? No.

But its not a crime.

Not smart enough to understand the difference?

Fact: They locked one person for smoking weed on one day. That's it.
