When the residents of the tiny island town responded to Ron DeSantis's stunt with a clinical demonstration of civic virtue, the right just about lost their damn minds.

...So let's compare and contrast.

On the one hand, we have a group of governors and operatives who hired a mystery woman to lure people -- who were seeking asylum from the harsh political repression they'd endured in their home country as well as a dangerous journey of some 3,000 miles -- onto airplanes and buses with phony offers of jobs and a future.

On the other, we have a few thousand people who, by all nonideological accounts, helped these poor people out for a few days.

Which of these groups behaved admirably? Was it the people with fraudulent offers of charity and kindness -- or the people who stepped in to provide it?...

They temporarily humored them before the National Guard shipped them off for detainment at a military base. Or can they leave this military base at will and I missed it?

I still don't understand what DeSantis was hoping to prove by pulling this stunt.

Anyone?

Is it, since houses weren't erected in MV for these immigrants, libz are hypocrites?

Was it to prove the people in MV hate immigrants as much as Republicans do?

Most immigrants come to America with an idea of what they're doing, where they're planning on going.

In this case, "They were also told there would be employment opportunities and immigration relief available to them if they boarded the plane,"

www.nytimes.com

But instead they were abandoned on an island.

Real fkkking great for them.

This shht reminds of the 4D chess Trump was supposedly playing with libz. Fkkking stable genius.

There's the Cruelty.
There's the Virtue Signaling on the national stage.
There's the Graft of paying $12,000 a seat for a plane ride and it's not even a jet.

There's probably other reasons that Eberly can tell you about.

What were you expecting to have happen?

The state was suddenly responsible for a bunch of kidnapped, abandoned, immigrants.

Detainment for processing is a good idea.

Them to be shipped off away from Martha's Vineyard for detainment.

Don't confuse that with a positive outlook though, I live in a place that Venezuelan and Columbian refugees flock to. Try keeping them around. They're good people and would greatly benefit MV.

When you are illegally trafficking undocumented immigrants the price for a seat goes up.

I'm sure that destanturd's super pac got a healthy kickback from the coyote.

I'm surprised Sitzkrieg has no comment on $12k a seat charter flights.

Those are Concord prices!
