Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Thursday, September 29, 2022

It was January of 2017, and a newly inaugurated President Donald Trump held a reception at the White House to meet with top congressional leaders. Hors d'oeuvres were on the menu. And the new president turned to a row of racially diverse Democratic staffers and asked them to retrieve the canapes, according to a new book.

If Haberman were a real journalist we would have read about it the day after it happened.

Is anyone surprised? Dotard is a racist POS, and his playing to his racism is what makes him popular among the MAGAts.

More from the cited article...

... The book describes Trump's relationship with Kara Young, a model he dated for multiple years who had a Black mother and a white father. Soon after meeting Young's parents, Trump joked that she had inherited her beauty from her mother and her intelligence "from her dad, the white side." Trump laughed at his own joke. Young didn't, and, according to the book, voiced her displeasure.

Young in a 2017 interview detailed another incident in which Trump expressed surprise that Serena and Venus Williams drew a racially diverse crowd to the U.S. Open, as he was operating under the belief that Black people were uninterested in tennis. (The U.S. Open finals are typically played at Arthur Ashe stadium, named for one of tennis' many high-profile Black players.)...

fwiw, Arthur Ashe Stadium is in New York City, so fmr Pres Trump should have been aware of it.

As time passes I find it harder and harder to understand how this guy finds his way to work every day, even when he lives in the building which houses his workspace. He must hear the volume on the television, and follows the sound to its source...

catdog - he sniffs cold pills and lives in an echo chamber where the only people he trusts are his children and that is still stretching it.

I hope everybody bought the book! It's a fine book, a great book, and Maggie Haberman, -she's a reporter you know, a fine reporter, won all kinds of prizes for it, -Maggie Haberman was there the whole time, watching and listening and writing it all down. So buy her book, it will really help her!

G-d bless America! Both Americas!

The same guy he flies to nearly every rally. Who they always put in the camera shot.

Isn't he also the one with a, um, "colorful" criminal record?

Arthur Ashe Stadium is in New York City, so fmr Pres Trump should have been aware of it.

He isn't aware of anything or concerned about anybody but himself and what surrounds and involves him, and his preconceived ideas and notions formed since his childhood, so he wouldn't know Arthur Ashe from Pete Sampras or Andre Agassi. He was and still is very uncurious or aware of anything outside his "genius and uniqueness" and his own interests.

If Haberman were a real journalist we would have read about it the day after it happened.

If Haberman posted this "the day after it happened" she wouldn't get any more access to Orange Dude, and we wouldn't learn of much more serious issues she uncovered during and after his presence in White House.

If anybody needs this particular piece of information to learn that Donald J. Trump is a degenerate bigoted racist they paid no attention to his history or his statements, and probably still think he is the greatest businessman and dealer-wheeler despite his history of bankruptcies, failures, documented fraud and lost lawsuits... i.e., they are very uncurious people themselves.
