Here we're going to see a bunch of ultra old white liberal limp wrists pretend to understand and appreciate rap, and it just so happens they all have a bottle of hot sauce in their manpurses.

Unlike you, I saw the mothership land at the Coliseum.

Was he vaccinated and boosted?

Yes.

And the outcome would have been a lot worse had he not been.

That's how science works.

I know how to swim, thankfully. After 1 inch of rain the community is flooded. A Jacksonville panic caster super spreader. Yard signs everywhere, Coolio was here!

I don't like rap. If anyone can point me to a work of rap that will leave me in awe, I'll listen to it.

Just like any genre, rap comes many different styles and themes. So it depends on which ones you are drawn to or turned off by.

I've always enjoyed groups like Black Eyed Peas and Wu Tang Clan because they put on energetic and engaging shows, and the former has musicians playing instruments on stage when they do live performances.

Here's a list of supposedly intelligent rap songs (YMMV):

Epic Rap Battles in History (ERB) is always a fun YouTube Channel.

There have been many humorous rappers too, such as

It's not all low brow.

Here's a semi-rap song from Russian-American singer Mike Nova (Mikhail Miranov): www.youtube.com

Even if you can't stand the singer even if you don't like the lyrics the tune of No Church in the Wild is it amazing throbbing work of art.

But this is all supposed to be about Coolio and even the grouchiest conservative should be able to admire the lyrics to gangster's paradise.

Come along and ride on a fantastic voyage
Slide slide slippity-slide
I'm hittin' switches on the block in a '65
Come along and ride on a fantastic voyage
Slide slide slippity-slide
Ain't no valley low enough or a mountain high

RIP Coolio

I appreciate art and music in many forms, but do not get rap. IMO, the only rap group that ever mattered were The Last Poets. They frightened and challenged Black folks, despite being from the hood ...
