President Biden said Friday that all of the country's coal plants should be closed because they're too costly to operate and can't be relied upon as a dependable energy source for future generations. "Wind and solar" will replace them, he said. "I was in Massachusetts about a month ago on the site of the largest old coal plant in America," Biden said during a speech at communications company ViaSat in San Diego County. "Guess what? It cost them too much money. They can't count. No one is building new coal plants because they can't rely on it. Even if they have all the coal guaranteed for the rest of the existence of the plant."

His timing was awesome. Oz campaign is going to run an ad showing Fetterman standing with Biden and are going to play Biden's words with a time stamp.

Good. Coal is dying and nearly dead.

It's not the world's problem that idiots like y'all stay in the past.

The entire American coal industry employs less people than Arby's.

As far as I'm concerned all we need is a couple of Mines on standby plus one for making charcoal.

Don't discount met coking coal... that's where the money is. Coal as a fuel is garbage, but met coal is fairly rare and you can't make steel (yet) without it.
