Biden's pitch has included claims that are false, misleading or lacking important context. (As always, we take no position on the accuracy of his subjective arguments.) Here is a fact-check look at nine of his recent statements.

The White House did not respond to a request for comment for this article.

I saw this sort of trend reading the NYT today I was impressed by the openness of their critique.

As the midterm elections near, President Biden has increasingly made exaggerations or misstatements about his influence on the U.S. economy and his policy record.

Also I just noticed CNN went after Biden too.

Has to be a coordinated attack, but why?

That Americans need to vote Democrat next week as if their liberties, financial future, and personal security depend upon it.

The opposition is looking to construct a kleptocracy along Russia/Putin lines with a heady admixture of Iranian-style political theocracy.

I knew that the country was in trouble when you people decided you didn't mind if Donald Trump and his family stole from you.

I'm pretty sure you still don't mind.

@#2 ... The opposition is looking to construct a kleptocracy along Russia/Putin lines with a heady admixture of Iranian-style political theocracy. ...

That's the issue here.

Pres Biden, and the Democrats, are doing what politicians do in the waning days before the election... extend the truth, exaggerate and, yes, lie.

The Republicans are doing what seditionists and insurrectionists do... try to kill democracy and put into place their autocracy.

Once again, the right is trying to proffer a false equivalency between the usual pre-election political discourse by the Democrats, and the attempt to violently overthrow the government by the Republicans.

It seems that false equivalency is all the Republicans have to attempt to justify their actions.

@#9 ... Biden is a habitual serial liar. ...

Fmr Pres Trump is the habitual serial liar. What was his average number of lies per day?

Pres Biden is a politician.

Who Lied More During Their First 100 Days: Biden, Trump, Or Obama?
www.forbes.com

...I collected data from PolitiFact, a nonprofit site that fact-checks politicians and other personalities. PolitiFact has consistent standards across politicians they fact-check and will only review statements that are verifiable, give a false impression, are significant to the public, are likely to be shared, and are likely to be questioned by others. PolitiFact categorizes statements into one of six groups:

(1) True, (2) Mostly true, (3) Half true, (4) Mostly false, (5) False, and (6) Pants on fire.

For simplicity, I collapsed all statements into two groups (true or false). The half true and mostly false categories were excluded because they have mixed evidence (partially true or partially false statements).

In his first 100 days, President Trump had 29 statements assessed by PolitiFact (17 false) compared to 12 statements from President Obama (1 false) and 4 statements from President Biden (2 false). As a raw count, Trump told more falsehoods than Biden and Obama combined....
