"Yes", Musk said in a tweet when asked if he would support DeSantis in 2024, after suggesting he had not found his ideal candidate among Democrats.

"My preference for the 2024 presidency is someone sensible and centrist. I had hoped that would the case for the Biden administration, but have been disappointed so far," Musk tweeted.

The entrepreneur's remarks are the clearest sign of his political backing after he indicated in June this year that he was still mulling his Republican preference for president but that he was "leaning towards" DeSantis."

Wait... you mean the Billionaire is supporting his own best self-interest by ginning up the rwing populist Base thru his new social media toy... the Base that ignorantly and self-abusingly keep the GOP Est in power to serve the elite globalists they say they hater with the same old Trickle Down Republican economic policies?

I have so many questions.....

If he thinks Lewzer is going to bend the knee he is going to have a problem. That fat ---- would never be able to stand back up.

The shortest version is that the 2020 election didn't turn out the way Musk wanted so he decided to buy Twitter and use that platform so he could be the 'king maker' in the 2024 election.

So now I wonder if the two warring factions for control of the U.S. government are going to have a head-on collision in the runup to 2024.

If Trump manages to appeal his way into the primary (still questionable) with his new White Nationalist Party, and Musk, the King Maker, throws the might of Twitter for the GOP and DeSantis, this 2024 primary could turn into a real bloodbath between the GOP and the White Nationalist Party ~ both of which are led by two of the craziest immoral people ever to step foot on America's political stage.

Two?! Don't forget about "Ye".

I haven't forgotten. I also haven't forgotten that Nick Fuentes, the leader of the White Nationalists, says their platform will be to send all American Jews back to Israel, all American blacks back to Africa, all American Chinese back to China, etc, etc.

"Ye" is just another ignorant dupe who thinks he's going to be the exception. He'll find out when they're through using him to mine black votes to get elected.

Sounds like Milo Yiannopoulos is going to help him out on the campaign trail. Guess Milo has had enough of MTG already.

Musk tweets and whines about every single thing in the news. Yet I've never found a single tweet critical of the republicans' fascist coup attempt. How interesting. And the only criticism of trump - he's "too old" to run again. NOTHING about the fact that he killed a half million americans and attempted to end democracy. How come?

If musk backs desantis, that means any smart or ethical person will vote for the other party.

Let's look at the bigger picture. Maybe (speculating) the GOP's plan is to ditch Trump and give the Republican voters a much cleaner looking candidate, so they don't have to switch parties.

That would put all three of them, the GOP, DeSantis and Musk, on the same mission to destroy democracy.

It sure looks to me like all three are trying to get their ducks in a row.

The Lewzer meltdown will make Chernobyl look like an ashtray fire.

We'd be shocked to the core if we had privy to back room plotting and scheming by anybody who is on a mission to overthrow democracy.

If either Trump or DeSantis makes it to the primary, this will be the GOP's (vis-a-vis Trump) 4th attempt.

1) the endless audits
2) the 60+ court cases, plus the arm twisting in the State of Georgia
3) January 6th

I haven't even included the death threats, blackmail, physical assaults, fire bombing, mob violence, kidnapping attempt, character assassinations, Russian money/propaganda, denigration of the intelligence services, etc., etc, ~~ all of which was done with the tacit approval of what has become the current version of the GOP and those in the U.S. Congress who don't have the intestinal fortitude to unite against it.

Enter now the White Nationalists and another page out of the NAZI Aryan Nation playbook.

As if Musk had ever seriously considered a Democrat. "Gosh, none of the Dems are psychotic authoritarians," Musk said to himself. "Looks like all my people are on the Republican ticket. Guess I have no choice but to go with the psychotic authoritarian who's a little more polished than the crude shartbag who keeps saying I grovel. Plus the more polished one will probably live longer."
