Florida is great for solar, not great for wind. It doesn't meet the criteria of "steady gusts". Not that Floridians would let them get built in their ocean views anyways, and that's without dealing with the pulsing effect.

"Florida is great for solar, not great for wind. "

Every form of energy production has its advantages and disadvantages.

Both California and Florida both have plenty of solar energy and I am glad to see Florida also using it liberally. It is safest and cleanest form of all renewables so far.

Green energy's biggest disadvantage is apparently Republicans ignorance and resistance to change. Not to mention Big Oil spending billions on lies and lobbying.

60 minutes did a recent piece on a village in the UK where the fishing industry is being replaced by wind farms and associated jobs.

If you are putting in a wind farm in front of one then you do it at the one he's always at in FL. It just wouldn't be a good site for non Trump reasons. That's FL for you.

What's funny are the rash of articles that have been released in the last year about how harmful wind farms have become to the local environments and communities.

But hey, that doesn't fit the narrative so we are just going to ignore all of that.

And my point isn't to vilify one or the other, my point is that moving from one harmful energy supply to another AND herding your followers like sheep to believe one is any better is a big problem. Too many of you think that any alternative energy source is better than traditional, which isn't true by any means. There are a lot of factors in place that prove one form is better for a specific area than another, or they are bad anywhere. Unfortunately, so many of you Lib kids are so indoctrinated by your leaders that you are never presented the correct data from which to create educated conclusions. You can demean me all you want but that doesn't change the facts, although I'm sure it makes you feel a little better somehow.

Is that how Republicans think? Spend millions on systems that don't work just for revenge?

We prefer two-fers. Put it in front of his Scotland course.

It will piss Trumpy off (maybe he will stoke out) AND please the locals by helping to reduce energy costs for the local Scottish community who already hate him.

And maybe it will lure him out of America and we could "lock the doors" after he leaves.

Care to share some links so we can understand why you think wind power is harmful? Or is it just because Trumpy said so and you still worship the ground he pees on?

Whats funny is your constant and blatant display of ignorance on any subject you choose to speak on.

Wind power is the safest and cheapest form of energy next to solar.

Every single source of power we humans have ever developed starting with fire itself has some kind of harmful side affects. Like the Franklin stove has evolved to become a safer form of heat from the people who wanted to touch it to see if was really hot. The trick is of course to continue to learn from our mistakes and make them safer for simple folk like you who are stuck in their ways and simply refuse to stop touching the hot stoves.

That is funny!

Please link these articles so we can laugh at them.
