Trump's impromptu dinner with Nick Fuentes at Mar-a-Lago last week has drawn condemnation from only a handful of Republicans, while most sidestepped the matter or said nothing. Those silent so far include Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, former Vice President Mike Pence, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and House Minority leader Kevin McCarthy, the chamber's likely next speaker.
The GQP filth know that Fuentes speaks for the majority of their base.

Who are his rivals?
Right now, he is the only one who has formally declared.
I will point out that he's being abused big time for this crap at right-wing media outlets.
This is FAR from the own, Reihneitgtsbot thinks it is. In fact, it's not an own at all. Quite the opposite.

They know the constituents. The same people that the party has always had in it. Now the fringe is yelling at the ball of yarn. The rural knuckledraggers just want conflict and weaponized gov. while the people who are elected just want to grift the gov. They don't care what the constituents do or who they are. They are selling anger and looking for people who need a fix. Fox is good at making anger junkies.

The Republicans don't want to upset the neo-nazi element of their deplorable base.

"Neo-Nazi"? Just Nazis.
But you're entirely right. Not just because they want their votes but because they're frightened of them physically.

The GOP cut off their own balls and sent them to Trump. Cowards, and dangerous for being so.

I was born in 1972 grew up in rural America in Southern Illinois. I am embarrassed by these hateful jerks. I was raised better than this and so were many, many others I grew up with. I understand a little how African Americans must feel about idiots like "Ye."

"Right now, he is the only one who has formally declared." Trump is just desperate to stay relevant. No one else is so stupid that they will "declare" so early.
And he is also the only possible candidate under multiple federal and state investigations who thinks that "declaring" so early will somehow protect them from federal or state indictments.

Here's one person who wasn't shy:
"Republican National Committee chair Ronna McDaniel said in a statement: "As I had repeatedly said, white supremacy, neo-Nazism, hate speech and bigotry are disgusting and do not have a home in the Republican Party."
Trump is an embarrassment and the albatross of doom hanging over the GOP and a threat to their mission creep to destroy democracy.

You're in the wrong party, lady.
"A member of the Republican Party and the Romney family, she was chair of the Michigan Republican Party from 2015 to 2017."
Romney is old and busted. White Nationalism is the new hotness.

The crazies are already calling for McDaniel's head:
Gov. Kristi Noem suggests RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel should be replaced after midterm losses: 'I don't know a party that can continue to lose like we have and keep their jobs' www.businessinsider.com

Gov. Noem has a good point. The Republican Party let Trump have his head in the midterms with all his wacky endorsement. They wasted a lot of money, knowing full well that Trump is crazy as a loon.
Now they're bitching because Trump is still pushing the envelope with this white supremacy gig and threatening to kill the GOP in the process.
They better cross their fingers that the Special Prosecutor has Trump in a strait jacket before he goes nuclear.

"Trump is still pushing the envelope with this white supremacy gig"
No.
White nationalism is the core identity that makes the Republican Party go.
Look at their Congressional delegations. Almost exclusively white men.

I agree, but it looks like the Republican National Committee wasn't ready for it to be announced on the 6 to 11 o'clock news every night for a week.
Here's McDaniel's statement:
That's shorthand for "It's bad for business in a primary."
Then, the latest bombshell is that the Trump-Fuentes marriage has dissolved into a vicious cat fight and now they're badmouthing each other all over the media.

There's an old saying along the lines of "If your rivals are imploding, don't interrupt them." It seems many of Trump's rivals are finally wising up and refusing to waste oxygen on him.

On Wikipedia, Fuentes is shown being of Mexican descent. No irony there, promoting the bull s**t idea that white Christians are the only Americans worthy of living in America. He certainly is NOT worthy of that privilege-deport him back to Mexico. Maybe DeSantis has an open seat on his next flight.
