Thousands of Egyptians are demanding the return of the Rosetta stone, displayed in London's largest museum.

Can they protect it from another Islamic fundamentalist attempt at erasing history ?

I see no reason for it not to be returned to Egypt.

I'd like all historic object returned to their original lands.

But the survival of the object matters more.

England hasn't had a civil war in over 300 years.

Can Egypt claim the same?
