How "democratic" of them. Ukraine is no different from Russia. It Just has a better PR department.

Next they'll be killing the Orthodox.

In the name of Democracy.

And we're paying for this every day in inflation and direct expenditures of taxpayer monies.

Disgusting.

You can't be a country's official Church while being subordinate to another country's official Church it simply doesn't work.

The Church under the Patriarchate in Moscow is not the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
I was a member of the Orthodox Church in America. I guess I still am. I'm never been formally excommunicated (I guess), but I don't participate. It used to be under Moscow, but it's not any longer. The Church in Russia is nuts and extremely corrupt. Much of this Christian Nationalism garbage that is gaining traction here now started 10-15 years ago when the Russian Church and Putin got in bed together.
Go figure.

Avoid.

The Russian Orthodox Churcu has been Putin's ally and still is so, considering the terrorism, murder and destruction Putin is doing in Ukraine I think it is only smart to ban any church rhat openly cooperates with the Russian Orthodox Church which could easily be described as a propaganda tool of terrorists.

"In the name of Democracy. because, unlike Russia, Ukraine is a democracy.

Democracy in Ukraine is problematic. Their only choice is between being a vassal state to Russia or the US.

Ukraine a democracy? Who in Ukraine voted for this war? Did millions vote to leave Ukraine when the Russian onslaught began? Zelenskyy does what he wants. Some democracy.

I look forward to the eventual Ukrainian victory and the country's admission to NATO and unification with the west.

As bonus, our various fascists will have to move on from the topic.

"Who in Ukraine voted for this war?"

Who voted to be invaded? Who in America voted for Pearl Harbor?

Seriously ? Ukrainians overwhelming voted for a President that would defend them.

Btw. Zelenskyy received about 73.19% of the votes to the incumbent president's 24.48%.

American Presidents can only dream of that kind of support.

#11 | Posted by donnerboy at 2022-12-03 10:49 AM | Reply

In some districts of the Ukraine Zelensky got over 100% the vote, just like Joe.

The Donbass regions weren't allowed vote at all in that election. They were being treated as enemy combatants.

Even though they were Ukrainian too. So much for democracy.

Of course Zelinsky won.Half the country was ineligable to vote at all.

It's like if all the blue states were considered in rebellion and Trump won overwhelmingly, because their votes were not counted at all.

Ukraine is corrupt. To the core.

Not a democracy in any real sense.

That's just a legend to get people to support their lying asses.

Unlike the child-raping orange jizzfart, Zelensky actually received more votes than his opponent.

Half the country was disenfranchised. I think that may have affected the result. Duh.

Of course the Ruscist traitors in Donbass didn't get to vote. Nor did the pro-slavery traitors in the US get to vote in 1864.

Why would anyone expect otherwise?

And as in the US, Donbass and Crimea will get to vote again once Ruzzia is forced out.

Will the land vote? How is that possible?

The people are who would be voting, if Russia is pushed out the ones who stayed and fought with them will be ethnically cleansed or liquidated.

Ukraine is Nothing like the post civil War US.

Reconstruction took ten years. The southern whites lost the franchise.

In Ukraine the Russian speakers and supporters will Flee or Die.

Ukraine has no real history of Democracy,it's a Hot House flower there. At Best,at Worst it's a complete Fiction

Not native growth.

Even over here where it is deeply rooted it took a decade to give the Southern whites their Civil Rights back.

"Ukraine has no real history of Democracy"

Ukraine has a strong history of genocide at the hands of Russians.

Yeah, Ukeaine under Yqg0kovitch was so much freer! That's why he snuck out of thexountry and ia still hiding out in Russia withnhie partner Putin while Putin terrorizes and murders Ukrainians. And Russia is such a great free democracy

president for life Putin locks up his rivals and referendums are held with armed Russian soldiers watching how voters vote.

if

putin would get his nilitary out of Ukraine it would a great democracy in spite of you Putin lovers.

#28 | Posted by wolfdog at 2022-12-04 12:00 PM | Reply

You thought?

Apparently you don't even know what democracy is.

Are you saying you want the U.S. to impose its Constitution on Ukraine?

Are you unaware that the church in question is an arm of Russian propaganda and part of the Russian state?

You don't seem to understand very much at all.

#29 | Posted by YAV at 2022-12-04 12:44 PM | Reply

The Russian Orthodox Church made Putin an official exorcist a few weeks ago. It's an arm of the Putin regime.
