Investigation Fines Madison Cawthorn Over Crypto Promotion

The subcommittee found "substantial evidence" that [Rep. Madison] Cawthorn promoted a "Let's Go Brandon" cryptocurrency, with its name coming from the slogan criticizing President Biden, in which he had financial interest in violation of rules against conflict of interest.

That's what the bulk of Repubs are getting into office for-to become wealthy.

There's no other reason for someone diametrically opposed to government to be so interested in getting into government other than the gravy train.

It is nice these guys can write the laws for the fines for themselves. How about a $1,000,000 fine? Or maybe a billion-dollar fine for drug companies who mess up? Nothing has teeth except bribing our gov.
