Really reeks of a "When you are president, they let you do it. You can do anything." mentality:
Donald Trump would be immune against lawsuits even if he had urged his supporters to "burn Congress down" while in office, his lawyer argued in court today

Interesting... does the 1st amendment protect the government from itself?

The first amendment does not protect against direct threats of violence. Which begs the question, was Trump's language inflaming enough to NOT be protected by the first amendment?

Acting contrary to his oath of office means he wasn't acting as the president
Should be fairly obvious

If Trump gets elected, the Oath of Office will be the first thing to go. He'll just make a dictate.

Acting in an official capacity does not include inciting an insurrection, riot or attack in an attempt to overthrow our democracy.

So Biden could have Trump arrested and have all of his assets seized? I mean if the authority is total...

Oh. He forgot to tell you.
It's only "total authority" for Republicans.
Them left wing radical Libs have no real authority.

Committing treason while trying to subvert the outcome of a legal and fair election is more of a crime than it is prorwcted fee speech. Instead of immunity he should get prison time. I haen't yet read a single argument to the contrary that was even slightly convincing. When Nixon was faced with impeachment for Watergate he didn't have the luxury of partisan poliyicians who would aquit him even though they knew he was guilty like Trump did which really was a violation of their oath of office "to protect and defend the Constitution." So, he resigned and showed more character than Donald Trump ever has. After the events of Jan. 6 those srill supporting Trump are completely without any sense of right or wrong. Y'all know it too but most of y'all can't admit the truth even to yourselves. I don't think I could carry that around in my head.

If Trump really wanted high rating he should just go ahead and televise his own execution by firing squad. We would ALL tune in for that.

Lingchi would result in higher ratings.
