Now that he sworn in the investigation by law enforcement can begin.

Local NYC evening news has pushed this story lower in priority compared to the hostage negotiations that were the House Speaker selection.
The last segment I saw on this was showing yet more, newly revealed lies that now-Rep Santos allegedly has uttered.
The "on the street" interviews of people in his district seem to show a sense of betrayal by him. That's not surprising.
I've still not a clue how this might end, if it does end. It just may hang around until he needs to be re-elected...

They should have added "tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth" to the oath.

You're joking, right?
Do you know how many that would eliminate (Republicans and Democrats)?
Of course, that may be the easier way to accomplish an apparent goal of the new Republican Party, i.e., that Washington should not be able to govern.

Good question.
From what I've been reading and what I've seen on the local TV news, the district was sort-of newly created due to redistricting, and things were a little confused in the new district. The Democrats may have not put much effort into the new district because they thought they could not win it, due to the redistricting.
But you raise a good question, nonetheless.

Yes! How did this happen? Evidently his opponent was asleep 24 hours a day.

It is by no means a stretch to envision scenarios in which the fate of a bill (to say nothing of My Kevin himself) could be decided by the vote of George Santos (or whoever he is).
Hats off to the Grand Old Party.

That was my question. If his opponent can't figure this out than he is just as unqualified. I mean Dems knew or should have known about Biden's years of lies and plagiarisms but that was ok with them. Proves that the lying isn't a problem it's the power they want.

You mean the one that Biden took down to allow illegals to flood in. Yes Mexico was going to fund it with the trade balances but Biden shot that to hell as well.

I've always had trouble finding the "crisis".

"it's still unclear how any indirect economic impact stemming from the trade pact will provide funds for the wall."
Trump is still making a fool of you.
