No NATO is not to blame for Putin's act of wanton attempt to conquer a neighboring country. Pussy riot hasn't changed and it places all the blame for the invasion on Putin. If you're a liberal and think the west is somehow at fault you're either a sucker or think you're still protesting Vietnam.

--------, NATO fomented and is funding and directing this war.

Ukraine is being used, they fell right for it. Russia got played. They stepped into a pile of ---- but they Were Baited by the Ukrainians with NATO connivance.

Now we have existential war in Europe, lunatics calling for total Victory over Russia in their backyard.

They won't give up.

NATO sees victory as imperative.

This could be the prelude to the Big One.

Sanity needs to prevail.

Not Escalation to Armageddon.

"In a statement, they described Putin's government as a "terrorist regime" and call him, his officials, generals and propagandists "war criminals".

They called ", (Mama, Don't Watch TV), which comes 10 months after Russia invaded Ukraine: "

The music of our anger, indignation, disagreement, a reproachful desperate cry against Putin's bloodthirsty puppets, led by a real cannibal monster, whose place is in the infinity of fierce hellish flames on the bones of the victims of this terrible war."

NATO isn't to blame.

Its like the drunk that keeps up his verbal assault, and then the other drunk hits him.

In otherwords NATO ------ around, and Ukraine found out.

Meanwhile, in Russia: 500,000 dead and wounded men, their entire modern tank force destroyed, hundreds of thousands of educated and able-bodied men fled to avoid the draft, oil prices heavily discounted below the cap instituted by the West, oligarchs and military leaders falling out of windows every week, their flag ships promoted to submarine status, their president crapped his pants.

Russians found out: nothing.

Spring is coming. The Flower seeds that Ukrainian women gave to invading Russians should be starting to sprout in the coming month.

Tor, many critics of the Russian War on Ukrainians are on the left of the political spectrum.

Richard C. Levin Professor of History at Yale, aired an essay, "The War in Ukraine and the Future of Democracy"(snyder.substack.com) on AltenativeRadio.org recently that forecasts that the future of democracy depends on Ukraine's success vs. totalitarian aggression. Yale's history faculty is fairly balanced between conservatives and liberals and centrists. But Snyder's thesis is that Russia's government under Putin is fascist and that Putin, the world's wealthiest billionaire, has great fear of participatory democracy, freedom of the press, and a fair judiciary. His model of governance is no better than Hitler's was, and his lieutenants and mouthpieces are no better than Himmler or Mengele.

On the other hand, U. Chicago's John Mearsheiner, a right-of-center International Affairs professor is a strong critic of the West's support of Ukraine. (m.youtube.com).And Trump and his allies seem to be pulling for Putin to succeed in The War on Ukraine.

The Russian band, ----- Riot, should be commended widely for its social conscience despite the fascist dictatorship that rules Russia. In a police kleptocracy, anyone challenging the dictator places themselves in peril.

How to counter the state media's parroting of Putin's lunacy? Tough to do when even the head of Russia's Orthodox Church, Patriarch Kiril, p a former KGB agent, condemns Ukrainians as immoral deviants.

A billion newsletters airdropped on Russia's metropolitan capitals might change the minds of a mere one million Russians. Perhaps a hundred million copies of ----- Riot's protest music might be more effective at informing the everyday Russians of Putin's murderous & kleptocratic ways, and perhaps it will motivate more Russians to revolt against Putinism and to seek a government more aligned with peaceful participatory democracy and international goodwill.

Perhaps? The world hopes.

Correcting a part of #19, the reference to "Richard C. Levin Professor of History at Yale" should have begun by identifying Dr. Timothy Snyder as Yale's "Richard C. Levin Professor of History". In editing that sentence, Dr. Snyder's namer was inadvertently omitted.
