A 39-year-old Republican, Pea ran and lost the race for House District 14 in the November 2022 election. Pea is "accused of conspiring with and paying four other men to shoot at the homes of two county commissioners and two state legislators." In total six (6) Democrats, their families their homes have had multiple shots fired at them and into their homes. Three bullets were fired into the bedroom of one Democrat's 10 year old daughter as she was sleeping.
