... was blindsided by the lack of enthusiasm ...

Perhaps fmr Pres Trump should take a step back and try to understand the reasons behind that apparent lack of enthusiasm.

For example...

Trump's 2024 Campaign Slow to Start, Quick to Stumble (Dec 2022)

...Trump's slow start and self-inflicted missteps have conspired to paint a picture of an isolated candidate and a campaign low on early-days energy that is facing strengthening headwinds....

Evangelicals will put more stock into the anti Christ candidate who can actually win.

Anyone that put their faith in people who pretend Jesus Christ would have supported conservative politics deserves to be sadly disappointed. They seem to believe in a version of Christianity not baow bor care how he feels about it. He is a hateful personsed on love. I don't know nor care how he feels aboutthe contradictions between hus policies and the Biblical scriptutes, I can only ask, what took y'all so long? Do any of tou really believe Jesus would have agreed with seperaying mothyrs from small children as a means of discourGING UNDOCUMENTED ALIENS FRO, SEEKIMG A BETTER LIFE IN aMERICA? I'm pretty sure you altrady know the answer to that.

Dotard is just upset that they used him like he used them to get what they wanted and once he was no longer useful to them they dumped him like would.

He's just pissed they dumped him first.

"I'm just disappointed with the evangelicals."

Why? Evangelicals have consistently supportrd tacistsn miogybists, Fascists and every other hateful politician since the 1960's, They have no more connection to the teachings of Jesus than Jimmy Swaggert who was a con artist as are virtually all of the preachers the Evangelicals listen to, as is Donald Trump.
