Was it Alito or the drunken gang rapist?

My gut says it was Chief Justice John Roberts in a last ditch effort to change the outcome of Dobbs ruling.

It was Ginni Thomas, wasn't it?

SCOTUS: You should trust us, and not disparage the Court.
Also SCOTUS: We can't seem to find the leaker yet, so we'll just end the investigation.

They probably figured it was Virginia Thomas or Alito.

In other words they know it was a Justice not a clerk and don't want to embarrass the court further.

We know damn well who leaked it since they "can't" find out who leaked it.

Clarence and Ginni.

Fact is, the list of must probable suspects was always the universe of the Justices.
NONE OF THEM WERE TALKED TO.

"NONE OF THEM WERE TALKED TO."
Obviously Kavanaugh was running the investigation.

ZED
"None of them were talked to" ON PURPOSE
They didn't dare! Everybody they interviewed denied they had anything to do with the leak, or knew who did, and had to sign a sworn affidavit that they were telling the truth.
There are six conservative justices who would have to lie under oath. Especially one of them about his nosey, interfering, bat-shjt crazy wife who thinks she's a "shadow" Justice on the U.S. Supreme Court

This should be an easy task. The Roberts Court has evolved into a shameful institution.

JOHNNY HOTSAUCE
"This should be an easy task."
It WAS an easy task. They just avoided asking the only people who actually knew the answer. The Justices themselves.
Then there was Roberts' candy-ass word-salad about closing the investigation.
How convenient!

Roberts may think he's preserving the integrity of the court but he's doing the exact opposite.
In fact, now he's made himself a co-conspirator.
Nobody is fooled. The U.S. Supreme Court has completely lost the right to use the word "supreme." Now they're just another cult.

I believe they know exactly who it is, but the close ties to Brandon and the Dems means they will never be revealed.

#14-I made the "nothing supreme" claim last summer, and they've only added more and more truth to it since then. They are a disgrace on the level of MTG and Boebert. If Biden wanted to make his document problem fade away, he'd make reforming the court front & center.

How does POTUS "reform" the court? The Executive has no power over the judiciary outside of appointing justices for the Senate to approve.

"How does POTUS "reform" the court?"
Maybe interview the 10 people most likely to have done it. Maybe interview recently departed clerks. They did neither.
Skipping those two central groups smacks of the Kavanaugh "investigation".

#19 You weren't addressing my question, but that's OK, yours was consistent with the thread.
I agree that the investigation to find the leaker was a sham.

"I agree that the investigation to find the leaker was a sham."
It may not have been. But the announcement certainly was.
And from the yelps when no one asked, it sure looks like Alito.

They didn't interview the Justices or their spouses.
Let me repeat that.
THEY DIDN'T INTERVIEW THE JUSTICES OR THEIR SPOUSES.
I wonder why they didn't catch the leaker...

Why should we care who leaked this horrible decision that actually revealed the purgery committed by at least five members of the court to help them gain Senate approval. I'd be much more interested in investigating that. They obviously lied,
' under oath, in Senate hearings. "Settled law"...my ass liars. If a 50 year old decision isn't precedent then nothing is. The Supreme Court has completely lost the respect of the Amerivan people and no amount of whining by either Roberts or Alito will restore it.

The Supremes continue to embarrass themselves and the "honorable court." Look up the google for "France 1789." I submit the Infamous Six are completely in thrall to the former "President."

Amazing what happens when you begin an investigation with no intention of finding the leaker. They never intended question the Justices and their spouses, one of whom has always been the primary suspect. It was most likely Alito, done to stop the other Xtian Nationalists from getting squishy when the fascism hit the road.
