Movies like to portray the IC as the ones operating in the shadows. Maybe sometimes. The craziest dudes I've ever known, including those in special ops, were the ones in counterintelligence.

They're the dudes who go into places like San Pedro Sula or Mogadishu and try and make friends with the people who want to kill most of us.

"Which makes it all the more frightening that they seem to be loyal to fmr Pres Trump and not to the Constitution."

They chose...poorly

"By "us" you mean invading American troops, right?"

No. By "us" I mean anyone who gets in their way.

It could be invading US troops. More likely it's locals who don't want to be owned by cartels. Or Al-Quaeda.

Or in this case, US service members who had violated their oath of office.

"Have them tried in a military Court and hung by the neck until dead for their crimes."

If the sentence has already been determined, what's the point in trying them?
