Drug addicts, prisoners. Russia is using the war as an excuse to rid themselves of the dregs of their society.

If they're giving automatic weapons to people going through withdrawals this will not end well.

This is no big deal. Watch a movie on the war in Vietnam. Many, many USA soldiers got high over there too. In other wars it was alcohol from makeshift stills.

The U.S. military did not knowingly deploy soldiers WHO WERE ADDICTED TO DRUGS.

I'm sure that's a big part of it. Looks better than having them starve in prison.

Russia has a new strategyin Ukraine, they are deploying thousands of conscripys trained to catch bullets, a few details still need perfecting but this could be Putin's ,ost brilliant move yet! Foreign volunteers are welcome, Effeteliar you can still get in on the fun!

Looks like Vlad is a fan of Zap Brannigan. "Killbots have a preset kill limit. Knowing their weakness, I sent wave after wave of my own men at them until they reached their limit and shut down."

Well, they're tried everything else. They had a big "Enlistment Incentive Program" going on in Syria which fell flat. Then it was retired military and senior citizens. Then it was conscripts off street corners. Then prisoners. Now it's drug addicts.
Something tells me that sacrificing your life (as cannon fodder) all for the Glory of Mother Russia and the Homeland isn't catching on.

Russia's customary two conscriptions per year (starting in April and October) cannot begin to support the 30% increase in the size of its forces recently announced by Shoigu. That leaves either (a) another broken promise or (b) more widespread mobilization.

The best thing Ukraine can do is air drop vials of heroin and fentanyl via drone over the Russian army.

The way Ukraine can fight this is to load up their drones with fentanyl pills and drop them on the addicts. They'll just OD, problem solved.

Smoking a joint when you're not on patrol is one thing. Most of the mobiks wake up with vodka, have vodka for lunch, and a dinner of vodka. It's no way to run an army.

What is the problem with having addicts in a military is eventually they get cut off from their poison of choice.

The chaos and further debilitation of the already sketchy Russian mobilization would be the icing on their borsht.
It would appear that Putin is circling the drain in tighter and tighter spirals.

Google "McNamara's Morons". It did not end well.
And while America certainly did not learn the lessons of Vietnam, neither did Russia.

Hey! USA comrades! Guess what? I have finally figured out the reason for this war Biden and Zelenskyy are supporting. It's genius. It's so genius that figuring it out has made me a genius. With 150,000 Russia soldiers so far dead, Ukraine will soon invade Russia going all the way to Moscow. With so many men killed, the widows of Russia will be eager for men. This will be heaven for all the lonely men in the USA who can't find wives. Biden's plan is genius.

For many years the US has sent the dregs of society in the military to fight their ground wars.
In fact it wasn't until the 80's that MEPS doctors were required to ask the enlistees if they were forced into their decision by a judge or any other authority.
