Cindy Williams, who played Shirley opposite Penny Marshall's Laverne on the popular sitcom "Laverne & Shirley," has died, her family said Monday.

It's another sad moment in the entertainment universe. She brought joy to many people. This is a good epitaph.

Have you ever considered the possibility that what was (frankly not very) important information in 1975 is totally ------- irrelevant today? I don't know any Union Army slang, but what you just said is as stupid as your own grandparents whining to you about that.
