Trump Ally Pleads Guilty To Pulling A Santos

Trump backed failed congressional candidate Lynda Bennett has plead guilty to accepting illegal campaign contributions during the 2020 primary election. Bennett, who was defeated by failed GOP congressman Madison Cawthorn, reported that she gave her campaign a $25,000 loan. The money actually came from an unnamed family member.

George Santos should pay attention because this appears to be the same type of crime that he is being investigated for after revising his campaign finance statement with the the information that a loan he gave to his campaign was not his money.

One has to wonder if the unnamed source of the money was Mark Meadows. Meadows endorsed Bennett. His wife actively campaigned for her. This also happens to be the same congressional district, NC-11, where Mark Meadows and his wife registered to vote using the address of a mobile home where they never lived.

Let's hope that phase does not become a meme, as the questionable stuff Rep Santos has done seems to be quite extensive and varied.
