Why is it that many of those on the right view violence as the goto solution for all that ails them? Are they incapable of pleading their case with out threatening violence? Is it that their arguments aren't persuasive; their position(s) unpopular?

Whenever I read posts from someone threatening violence, I imagine a grade school bully that never grew up; someone with very limited education; someone that has failed at just about everything that they have ever tried and is angry at the world because of their failures; someone that is frustrated by having to compete for opportunities whereas in the past all they had to do was just show up.
