They were promised that the 12 tribes would become as numerous as, "the sands of the seas and the stars of the heavens".... but that they would have forgotten their heritage and not know who they are.

It's possible that they are all around us; that they are us.

= Everyone else goes to hell when they die.

People who say things like that are judging other people and will be judged in the same way they judge others, according to the book they don't read.

It is only true in the sense that the definition of "hell" is separation from God.

Kinda like if Trump isn't in Mar a Lago when Visitor stops in to see him.

The separation alone is devastating!

People who "know" for certain whether our reality is a computer simulation, a spiritual intervention in physical reality, an evolutionary burp, or billions of coexisting dimensions... or whatever else one can imagine... are just as "delusional" as each other.

Which is why it's called faith, not knowledge.

It always cracks me up when religionists and/or atheists are so sure they "know" THE TRUTH.

It could be said that atheists caused the most mass murders of the last century, from Pol Pot to Mao to Stalin.

That might also be considered tiresome.

Paul taught that disciples in a church should support the Teacher/Pastor of the church, and the church should minister to the poor.

That reminds me of a line from CS Lewis' takedown of so-called, "Christian Nationalism".
