Did you know they actually count people who weren't born due to the situation in a country as "a death under communism."

For example, WW2 was happening and instead of having 4 kids most people only had 2 so the 2 they didn't have were counted as "deaths."

You'll always take a country that has suffered no external restrictions or sanctions, benefitted from centuries of slavery and colonial extraction and compare it with a semi feudal former colony that has just won its independence in the grand scheme of things and were made to suffer for it by their former colonizers.

The USSR started as a peasant backwater where wooden plows were still being used and within 3 decades it beat the US to space. During that time they had a civil war, were invaded by the nazis, sanctioned, etc.

The US only had 200 or so years on it, had enslaved a race of people, completely wiped another from existence and took everything they had, colonized half the planet, etc.

And who in the USSR did that benefit?
