Unfortunately, Manhattan isn't the case that's going to turn the tide. His followers already knew he's a cheating liar and an adulterer and it didn't budge them an inch. It didn't seem to bother his wife much either. She's still there.

There are three more good shots left, J6, the documents, and the State of Georgia. And, of course, the leverage those indictments would give Ron DeSantis . . . although he's no prize either. DeSantis is the devil you don't know versus the devil you do know.

My question is, if Trump is indicted on any of the cases he's charged with, will he . . .

Get released on his own recognizance?
Show up for court on the word of his attorneys?
Be set a high bail?
Skip the country in his 757?
Bog down the judicial system with endless appeals?
Put a contract out on Michael Cohen's life?
Seek exile in a country with no extradition treaty?
Enter himself in a mental rehab facility?
Ditch the Secret Service and hide out in Michael Flynn's house?
Fake his own death?

Questions, questions. What would a coward like Trump do?

In the Manhattan case, the least of Trump's worries, I think he will show up for an arraignment. The one thing he wants to avoid is the media publishing photos of him in handcuff. BTW, that's not an ego thing. It's a "candidate for president" thing.

Once arraigned I think he'll be released on his own recognizance. Beyond that I think there will be a flurry of motions to delay, delay, delay a trial (Just call me Captain Obvious). In the end, I think Trump will quietly cop a plea and get off with the most minimal of sentences, whatever that may be. Perhaps even ordered to divest himself of any operational control of Trump Org. due to the records falsification charge.

The J6 and State of Georgia indictments are less likely to be handled with such kid gloves. We'll need another few threads on this site to rake those over the coals. And maybe some air traffic reports covering the movements of Trump Force One.

As for the Secret Service protection, I think the answer is "Yes." As a former president Trump will continue to receive Secret Service protection until he is behind bars . . . or declared a fugitive from justice by Interpol.
