Jennifer Rubin, Washington Post: You might find it strange that a large segment of the Republican base thinks Whites are the true victims of racism and that Christians are under attack. After all, America's biggest racial group is still Whites; the most common religious affiliation remains Christianity.

Straight, white, Christian men in the US are the only group that you can be openly racist against and not get shouted down, in fact, you will be cheered for your bravery.

Please explain how it is that whites are being blocked out of the job market yet the unemployment rate for white Americans is at 3% while the rate for black Americans is 5%

My explanation is that you are looking at things that are completely unrelated and drawing horrible conclusions as a result. Overall employment numbers don't negate that fact that straight, white, Christian males are discriminated against in hiring. Please tell me the last company that included the following:

"Straight, white, Christian males are encouraged to apply"

That tag line, with the words 'women' or 'people of color' is almost universal now. If reversed, the companies would be brought up on charges but as long as the victim is straight, white, Christian males, it is perfectly acceptable and the companies are rewarded for it through things like ESG scores.

That is the story they tell if you are retarded. For people with a fully functioning brain, you would typically look at things like:

1.) education level
2.) criminal backgrounds
3.) type of jobs
4.) willingness to relocate for work

before making any pronouncement about white unemployment levels being lower due to racism.

But not good old 'piss hot' Danforth who ascribes 100% of the difference to racism.

#18 I am usually not one to attack the source. If I read a hit piece or whatever I'll make my criticisms specific. Jen Rubin is God-awful. In the past, even when I've agreed with her I felt her writing style and logical arguments in support of her position were bad.

The GOP is in trouble too. They began pandering to evangelical Christians in the 1980's, using abortion and guns and other culturally divisive issues as a means of garnering votes. That effort has always been purely cynical at its core; Bush's head of "The Office of Faith Based Initiatives" privately mocked evangelical Christians for their gullibility.

Just curious, are you an employer? Do you, or your HR group, actively recruit prospective applicants? I'm talking about full-time, permanent positions. Not hiring a day laborer or temp worker to clean out your garage.

I have a feeling you're not. Because if you were, you'd understand exactly why successful employers are exploring ways to reach segments of the population not represented in their workforces.
