Trump is 0-587 in his attempts to escape responsibility for his crimes.

So much winning.

I was thinking a similar thought when I heard of this news.

It prompted me to think this may be the reason why fmr Pres Trump's legal strategy seems to be more of delaying than winning.

In other words, he knows he will eventually lose, so he tries to push that point out as far as he can into the future.

And then Rs complain about it being old news that's be dragged up from the past for political reasons. Sigh.

Hardly. He STILL hasn't faced any accountability after an entire lifetime of crimes.

And fascist traitor republicans will protect him from most if not all of the accountability he still deserves.

They're going to protect him from the state charges in GA by rewriting the law to fire the prosecutor. They're going to pardon his federal crimes. The NY state charges are the only ones that could still and will just be a tiny slap on the wrist.

Yeah, this Stormy Daniels case is not the strongest I've seen of late.

For example, fmr Pres Trump could just argue that it was an accounting error, and not his intent. "Intent" may be difficult to prove.

Given his age and his health, he could very be dead before accountability catches up with him!

What was interesting about this was the breakneck pace of it. I heard a couple of very well-known legal eagles comment that Judge Howell and the three-judge panel that received the appeal obviously saw something that was high stakes, perhaps national security related, in order to move things along so fast. This isn't just fatigue over Dotard's endless legal delays, they were determined to get this information into the special council's hands as expeditiously as possible. One suggested that Corcoran wanted to testify so that he wasn't left holding the bag, we'll see if he pleads the fifth when he's seated in front of the grand jury. And there were audio recordings of conversations...The mind reels at the possibilities. One thing we know for certain, Fat Donnie Dotard is a traitor to this country, and anybody who still works for him after Jan 6 is likewise a traitor.
