If they read the bible they keep saying they believe, they would find that Paul described in great detail the many sexual persuasions in Rome, speaking to the new church there.
It's one of those passages that they wouldn't want read read in school.
He advises them not to participate, but then says,
"Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. "
(when he says "doing the same", he means any sins, any missing the mark of perfection, because no one is perfect, they all sin in some way most of the time, and sins are all basically the same to God, no matter that we may consider some inperfections worse than others)
.
And if Paul is too much a liberal for them, they can take Yeshua's word for it:
"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?"
