Preacher: Trans Supportive Parents Should be Shot in Head

A hate preacher told his church's congregation that parents who allow their children to have "a transgender surgery" should be shot in the back of the head and hung from a bridge as an example to the public. However, gender-affirming genital surgeries aren't conducted on children. These comments came from Jason Graber " a New Independent Fundamental Baptist (New IFB) preacher at Sure Foundation Baptist Church in Spokane, Washington.

If this story is true he should be getting a visit from the police and informed he is not allowed to encourage violence (only politicians are allowed to do that).

This is not Christ-like and only serves to give people "see I told you so" ammo (so to speak).

I prefer WWFRD or trying to live your life Rogerslike. We know how he lived his life and I have yet to find a person who can find fault in the way he lived so maybe just maybe if you need religion in your life become a Rogersfarian and do your best to live the way Fred Rogers lived.

The Bible makes a comparison of shining a light illuminating the evil around them.

I think that's one of the swords Jesus might have been referring.

Specifically, the "context" of the times was Jesus and His earliest followers had the Romans and the Jews who didn't approve of them.

Oh good lord Snoof you are trying to get a self proclaimed Christian to interpret the words of Christ? Christ meant whatever Bill wants him to have meant and the contortions Bill will go to making sure that's how it is interpreted would land him a spot on Americas got Talent.

That's why I like being a Rogersfarian we don't worship the man just follow his teachings which are rarely ambiguous. For example in this case I would go with "Anyone who does anything to help a child in his life is a hero." or possibly "Everyone longs to be loved. And the greatest thing we can do is to let people know that they are loved and capable of loving."
