  • Two of Donald Trump's employees moved boxes of papers the day before an early June visit by FBI agents and a prosecutor to the former president's Florida home to retrieve classified documents in response to a subpoena...
  • Trump and his aides also allegedly carried out a "dress rehearsal" for moving sensitive papers even before his office received the May 2022 subpoena...

Witnesses report Trump reviewed materials and picked what he wanted to keep and hid those items from the DOJ.
If the witnesses reports are to be believed, the consciousness of guilt shown by Trump is undeniable.

    1/21: Trump departs White House
5/21: National Archives (NARA) requests missing records from Trump
1/22: NARA receives 15 boxes from Mar-a-Lago containing 184 docs with classified markings.
2/22: FBI launches investigation into what's going on.
5/10/22: Trump holds "dress rehersal" in event the DOJ comes for more docs.
6/2/22: Two Mar-a-Lago workers move boxes from the "storage" room.
6/3/22: DOJ Arrives to retrieve the additional documents.
8/8/22: FBI searches Mar-a-Lago again and seizes more than 100 more classified documents.

I don't see how anyone following what is going on can come to any other conclusion other than Trump more than knew what was going on. He orchestrated the concealment of classified documents from NARA, the DOJ, and the FBI, and continued to lie directly to everyone about it, and even implicated his own lawyers in this obstruction of justice.

I'd like to know if Trump was tipped off the day before the DOJ showed up so they knew to move all the materials. If they were, who did it? I hope the DOJ is full on on prosecuting whoever did (if it happened).

"I'd like to know if Trump was tipped off the day before the DOJ showed up"

Iirc, standard operating procedure is to notify the Secret Service ~24 hrs in advance.

The Trump loyalists in that group who might've tipped him off abound.

Thanks Danforth. I'd forgotten that. That explains the "dress rehearsal" time line.

The fact that Mango Mussolini rehearsed this tells you how serious he was about keeping his greasy little fingers on these classified docs. What is the only thing Dotard has ever been serious about? Putting money in his pockets. He's never even been interested in rehearsing the speeches at his Klan rallies. So he obviously saw these docs as a source of income.
