You know in movies there is always the idiot, know it all Boss of a scientific/tech company who ignores the advice of his staff that the special project isn't ready yet and pushes ahead anyway only to have it blow up in his face?

I always thought that was kind of a myth.

Elon Musk proves its not a myth.

@#1 ... Surprised there were any left. ...

I was wondering along similar lines.

Mr Musk has either laid off or driven-off so many of the former twitter tech folk that I am still wondering how Twitter still runs.

Mr Musk seems to have pared his tech staff down to the bare minimum to handle the more normal day-to-day challenges (though, there seems to be evidence that he cut too far in order to even maintain that level of support), that when some bump in [let's call it] activity on Twitter emerges, Twitter is not able to handle it.

So, the question seems to become...

Was Mr Musk knowledgeable about the possible crash and burn of Gov DeSantis' event ahead of time because of his superior knowledge of Twitter?

Or was he as clueless as he appears to have been?

So a billionaire buddy of Trump buys CNN and turns it into a screwy mess, and a billionaire buddy of the far right, Musk, buys Tesla, sorry, buys Twitter, and destroys it from within. One could be forgive for a paranoid thought or two that there is a move to make sure we of the poor and the left have no way to communicate and join together. No American spring here, no sir.
