The 300 lb sack of---------- should be hung from the Washington Monument for inciting the insurrection.

REIN

Why would you want to do that to the Washington Monument? It might get scratched.

Although if it was pay-for-view, it might pay off the national debt.

An interesting facet of this conviction and sentence is that Mr Tarrio was not at the Jan6 insurrection, showing that someone does not have to be present at the crime to suffer the consequences of a seditious conspiracy ruling for that crime.

Great point, and one I also found intriguing. Such are the vagaries of the leader/ringleader role/status. (Combined with a serious addiction to limelight.)

Why do Democrats hate black men and women who do peaceful protests that are far more peaceful than the radical ANTIFA and BLM that burned down billions in American cities. We need a public hearing that covers all factions of radicals instead of just one side.

@#22 ... We need a public hearing that covers all factions of radicals instead of just one side. ...

That is an couple-year-old deflection attempt that tries to equate protests against police brutality with the insurrection attempt.

The deflection didn't work back then, and I doubt it will work now.

Let us know when the left allows a radical faction to completely capture their party, the way your party has.

Enrique Tarrio was already working as a snitch for the FBI so there's that when he walks though the big metal gates and looks for his cel.

I've noticed that as time has passed, as the DoJ has been climbing up the chain of responsibility, the sentences have been in an upward trend.

So it was a "seditious conspiracy" then.

In a conspiracy is everyone involved in the conspiracy guilty of any crimes that anyone else in the conspiracy commits?

#34 | Posted by donnerboy at 2023-09-07 04:45 PM | Reply

#34. Good question. To me the sentence seems excessive but I haven't followed this case and honestly don't know what actions constitute "seditious conspiracy" and what kind of sentence such a conviction typically carries. I do find it curious he wasn't in DC on J6.

"but I haven't followed this case"

Figures. I can see why. Because Trumpy and Gym Jordan don't want you to know anything about it.

The jan 6th insurrection was only one of the most important events in American history. At least you get some exposure to it here.

And I bet you know all about Hunter Biden's laptop and the charges against him from Gym Jordan and the fixed noise agitatsiya propaganda (agitation propaganda).

Note that the Judge ruled the riot was an insurrection. He did not say how the people participating in the riot were to be charged.

It was the first time a court was BRAVE enough to confront the (elephant in the room) issue of it being an insurrection directly.

I wonder how many death threats he will get for that.

It made 9/11 and Pearl Harbor look like fun circus events. It is certainly u there with a mass extinction event.
