Alabama Gerrymandering Defeated

Federal judges have found that Alabama is entitled to a new Congressional District that will almost have a black majority and in doing so obligate the Republican Party to find the most moderate candidate in the state or face a landslide defeat.

funny how all of the Red States, that used to have that
law that oversaw how they ran elections, completely
went back to racist rightwing tactics as soon as the
law was struck down...

You mean the Supreme Court lied to us?

Et_Al was all about that.

Within minutes or Section 5's repeal, racist Republican states turned towards implementation of their already concocted strategies for disenfranchising Black voters.
